I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pinar, a Turkish restaurant, with a group of friends, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere.

The menu at Pinar is truly amazing & and a delightful treat for any keen restauranteur. We started our meal with a variety of mezze, including hummus, and salads. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. The hummus was just so nice, creamy and perfectly seasoned.

For our main course, we ordered the mix grill. The kebab was cooked to perfection, with tender and juicy meat. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and each bite was a true delight.

The Turkish tea was a perfect way to end the meal, with its soothing and aromatic qualities.

The service at Pinar was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had and made sure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

Overall, I cannot recommend Pinar enough. The combination of delicious food, inviting ambiance, and excellent service makes it a top-notch Turkish restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try more of their mouthwatering...

We ate here Saturday night. Having eaten here before and it was great we returned to find it very bizzy. Waited to be seated but others barged passed so we told to find our own places. Sat at table only to be told by bearded guy (silver chain round his neck short guy) we could site there and to move.( no tabke reservated sign)Which we did, he later returned took our order but wasn't helpful. Only the pizza arrived (we d also order chicken wrap chips salad and drinks) we waited a bit but decided to eat the pizza still nothing followed, we did ask twice about the rest of our order but nothing arrived. We finished the pizza, asked again and told it would be a while so we sadly said to cancel it. We paided and left. The girl on the till apologised but apparently the waiter who was handling our order was the manager and she could do nothing. The pizza was very nice but sadly the rest of our evening was very poor! Other times we ve been there the manager was not on the floor and the service and food had been great. This guy really let's the...

Real and honest review !

I have been here a few times. So here are my thoughts.

Food is : 10/10 - AMAZING! Customer service (if you count that to be more than just putting food on table) : 2/10.

It’s a shame really. I saw a waiter become aggressive with a few customers. The customers were not aggressive. They asked about the difference in prices between takeaway and dining at the restaurant.

The owner was told. He apologised. He is a good guy.

The waiter then laughed it off in front of the customers?? What kind of establishment is this ?

Where is the welcome, asking customers how their food is and even giving normal items such as tissues and water with a smile rather than a frown or look of anger? Where is the communication with customers?

So, if you want to sit in this restaurant and enjoy food, chances are that your experience of having good food goes down by the lack of customer service etiquette and empty ambience.

PINAR! Sort your staff out...

First time coming to Pinar, after being recommended it - I’m originally from Manchester, so we have a few restaurants to compare it to, like Sultanahmet and Istanbul restaurant The service was okay, I wouldn’t say they’re really attentive, had to call someone over to place an order after 10 minutes sat down, same again after being finished, took a while for staff to acknowledge we were done, however these are just minor things, overall it wasn’t too bad The food we ordered were ribs and a meat mixed grill for one, I have to say, the food here was amazing and I’ll 100% be back again, the ribs were juicy and fully of flavour and everything on the mixed grill was delicious too! Decent selection of drinks too - one inconvenience I had was that an establishment like this didn’t accept card, so I had to get cash out from the ATM down the road, not pleasant when the weather isn’t great lol - only reason it being 4* and not 5* for the inconvenience

An extensive menu with lots of choice. The Cold Mezze, lamb chops, ribs and baklava were tasty. Only issue - ordered the Pinar Platter so we could try abit of everything (was around £75) but meat portions were kinda off. 5 chops included, 4 of which were on the bone and decent size. But the last lamb chop didn’t look like a chop, it was an inch big 😂, off the bone, no bigger than a slice of cucumber. The kebab was also nice, but they should include more pieces, you only get 2 small pieces. The platter serves 6, so 2 small bits of kebab is strange. Still plenty of food though as there’s some shawarma and wings included. Service was okay, but they forgot our drinks, forgot to give us serving spoons and forgot the sauces. We had to get up around 3/4 times to ask for things as the servers were everywhere but the dining area. No one comes to check if you have everything either. Defo need to train staff a bit better.
