Spice Master — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

My 17 year old son Ordered chicken shashleek and specifically asked for garlic sauce seperate. Person serving decided to pile on the sauce on top while he was standing there despite what he instructed. He said I don’t want it but was confronted by 3 members of staff ganging up on him and threatening him to not be allowed to come back again if he doesn’t pay for it. Since his brother really wanted it he bit the bullet and bought that one and ordered another one for his brother. They bullied my son into purchasing it even thought it was their mistake. His brother doesn't like garlic sauce but he himself does so since they were sharing he asked for garlic sauce seperate. I advised my son to not go there again. The only good thing from them used to be the chicken shashleek and even that is hit and miss, the rest of the food is garbage. How can you mess up chips, almost everytime i bought them they've burnt them so i’ve stopped ordering from them. There’s better takeaways in the area, i would avoid them not just because of the confrontational service but the food is mostly rubbish. I personally prefer the takeaway next door to it, much better food...

Spice Master is really worth visiting!!! Location is along the West Road; just less a minute walk from West Road -The Plaza bus stop. Accessibility: excellently accessible for ♿️! Services: excellent over the counter service by the Front Desk Chef (if there’s any title like that - 😂)! Eat-in is available here. Also you can order by phone and get it delivered. Kid’s friendly: though not a large outfit but 100 children friendly. Menu: There are countless of menus. I’ve had the masala spicy fried fish and it’s a wow !! Overall: it is 5-star from me for excellent over the counter service, well packed take-out...

Been coming here for years Farhad and his staff are so friendly welcoming and nothing is an issue. Very busy shop but always a staff member will take your order and acknowledge you if your waiting. Customer service is brilliant. Prices of the food is excellent also. I’ve only had the donner kebab/pizza/chips and lamb curry and all taste amazing and fresh and tasty. I like lots of sauce on my kebab :) and the young lad serving behind the counter always adds extra with a smile on his face. Without doubt the best takeaway on the West Road and Newcastle.
