It's quite meh. The burger that I ordered was plain and not seasoned at all. It was a smash burger which needs to be seasoned well since it loses a little bit of its taste when smashed. I can neglect that but the service was abhorrent. I work in a restaurant as well and no matter how small the order is we present the customers a set of tissues to clean themselves afterwards. I wasn't. It was a good thing that I had tissues on hand or otherwise i would have needed to walk to the till or the washroom with dirty hands. I thought that tissues were in an appropriate place but they weren't. So I assume you only get them when you ask for them. Why? Because no SAUCES, if you want to buy a sauce you have to pay which is ridiculous. It's a burger joint, it's supposed to have sauces available for people to take or dispense, keep a bottle of Heinz and mayo around for people to take, walk a little further and go to any other shop and you will have access to either mayo or ketchup for you to take. This is absolutely childish. I have had burgers all over the UK but never have I had the experience of such bad service. Just yesterday I ate some fries at the Punch Bowl and the waiteress asked me if I wanted to have some ketchup or mayo with the fries, and all the bottles were conveniently placed. The fries were 4.75 against the 12 pound burger + meal that I ordered here. This is so so very wrong. Won't be going here again. Money better spent elsewhere where I am treated with a good burger, with some tissues to clean myself and access to sauces.

Bangin brisket burger! I intended on trying B-D a while ago out when I saw the brisket burger on their menu but was disappointed when they revamped the menu and removed it. So when they announced the 'Braised Brisket' limited edition special I jumped at the opportunity to get my fix! It was as delicious as I hoped and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The flavours were sensational and the meat barely needed chewing. The bun was super soft and also slipped down easily. The patties were cooked nicely, just how smash patties should be. I couldn't fault the burger at all. The chicken tenders were superb as well. Really crispy coating and bathed in tasty sweet BBQ sauce. They did lose their heat a bit due to the sauce but remained crispy. That was probably mostly because the batter was quite thick so the amount of chicken could've been more generous maybe. My partners cheese fries were a generous portion and great quality fries. The paprika seasoning was fantastic too but not spread with much care. I must mention the knackered air con. It was a hot day and the system was just blowing hot air. We moved tables because it was unbearable sat directly under it (still a tad uncomfortable there too though). Plenty of seating available so it was fine. Overall it was amazing food, good service and great value. Highly recommend it.

Visited Burger Drop in West Gate, Newcastle and honestly left feeling a bit let down. I ordered the smash burger, loaded fries (with chicken shawarma and cheese sauce) and a peanut butter milkshake. Food took about 30 minutes to come out. After 20 minutes, someone came over to ask what we had ordered, then came back to say the food was ready but the milkshake wasn’t. Instead of bringing the food out while it was hot, she went to make the milkshake first and brought everything together nearly 15 minutes later. By then, the food was lukewarm. The burger was alright, nothing amazing but not bad either. The loaded fries were meant to have chicken shawarma, but there was barely any chicken in there. I actually forgot it was even supposed to have chicken until I spotted a few bits halfway through. The peanut butter milkshake was easily the best part. Absolutely amazing. Rich, creamy and full of flavour. 10/10 for that alone. The place itself looks great inside, with plenty of seating and nice decor. It’s just a shame the food and service didn’t live up to it.

I've had the food twice from here. First time had the chicken and beef with fries. It was nice but I did feel it lacked some flavour and it was luke warm which was a bit disappointing as we only live 2 minutes away so should have been hot and fresh if anything. Didn’t give any feedback the first time as it is a new place and it was quite busy etc. Second occasion was the most disappointing...makes me quite sad to leave this review as I really wanted the food to be gooood! Burgers and fries were cold! The chicken burger was a piece of breast with half the coating on (no taste at all, not even salt and pepper?).The reason why I ordered the second time was because I thought it would be much better. I understand you are new and hope this feedback is given to the staff in the kitchen to improve in the future as this place has so much potential if done correctly. I would also like to add the prices are on the high end but I understand everything is made fresh inhouse so worth the price but when the food does not reflect on the price at all then its not worth much at all. I would happily pay the price as its fair for a (REALLY GOOD HOT)...
