Ordered from Davey’s for the first (and last) time tonight via Uber Eats. Once the food was collected at the door, we went to open the bag and realised it wasn’t our order - it was someone else’s with the same first name. Ran back to see if the courier was still there but unfortunately not. Unable to get through to anyone on Uber Eats, we phoned the restaurant who seemed to already know the issue. She said it was their mistake and that we can go through the Uber Eats app and request a refund. I said that’s fine but the money won’t go into our bank immediately and we are now without tea for tonight. I thought she might encourage us to re-order and they would prioritise our delivery, or offer for us to collect - with some level of discount for our inconvenience. Essentially we got an “oops, sorry” and were told that if we came into store in the future, we could mention it to staff and we ‘might’ get a discount. No chance we will be going back. When we realised nobody was coming to collect the wrong food (we explained it was unopened and untouched), we opened it and it looked absolutely gross anyway. Wouldn’t bother as problem solving...

2 separate occasions now I’ve ordered food through uber eats and had issues. The first time I was sent out 2 of the wrong milkshakes and when I rang the store they apologised and said they’d provide me with a voucher for next time I ordered.. however, I never received a voucher. This morning I ordered me and my husband breakfast, we only received one of the 2 breakfasts and iced lattes. I rang the store again for the lady on the phone to try blame the Uber driver, baring in mind the bag was stapled shut and there is no way he could have taken the food. I asked on the phone, could this not be a fault on your behalf perhaps yous have just missed it off ? For her to respond saying it wasn’t them and continued to blame the Uber driver which I don’t think is fair. The uber driver in question was more helpful with what we could do than the actual store. The hash browns and the one breakfast we received was also lukewarm. It’s a shame because I know this store provides lovely food in store.. However, maybe doing deliveries that aren’t local isn’t the best idea.. food is always cold or there’s...

Waited over 25 mins for 3 milkshakes, and it wasn’t even busy, for £6 each that’s an actual joke. If u want a milkshake go FiveGuys, it’s cheaper, quicker and tastes better. To make it worse, we ordered a milkshake that they add banana to, and one of them grabs the banana she screams EWWW before putting it in the blender. if your after gross ingredients maybe consider going here. The reason it took so long is because the staff spent ages procrastinating and gossiping, even the manager noticed this and tried to get them back on schedule but it didn’t help. one of them was decorating the cups for around 15minutes?? Despite the lack of hygiene, service, and waiting time, these are the blandest milkshakes I’ve ever had. When we got them there was no sorry about the wait or anything, instead they gave us a weird look like we inconvenienced them!? After all that we struggled to tell which was which because they all tasted so similar, worrying as we got banoffee, Oreo and peanut butter.
