Excellent pub with great interior design. Itâs literally just off the main strip by the station. Really chilled atmosphere with good selection of drinks. People on here have said its a boring place but I find it very intriguing, the colour inside is great and they made everything the same, a really nice touch, very arty and theatrical. Lovely use of lighting and rustic original spit and sawdust floor minus the spit and sawdust. Last time I went the bar was reasonably busy and it was taking a good 20-30 minutes to get served which was frustrating to say the least.
I've lost count if the number of times, over the years, that I've heard "let's go to the Telegraph, it's a great pub", only to have an 'OK' visit.
