Oh you are lucky if someone is appreciating that you come-in in this rubbish cafe. Was urged to try some fresh made baklava and decided to give a try at this place. Came in rushing around 11am, went straight to the counter to choose some baklava. At the counter saw a lady which couldn’t look more pissed of my arrival, she did not look or me, neither did I was greeted to the cafe and asked what I would like. I stood there for literally 5minutes straight looking at the wall waiting for this lady to take off her tinted black glasses at least as a gesture of greeting, finish her conversation on the phone (I understand every single word she was saying and the convo was not more important than the customer waiting for your attention!!!) Time is passing and she is just casually talking on the phone like there is no one around. Disgusting, awful behaviour. I think sometimes they forget , that they are in England not back home and they need to treat their customers with respect. I cant say anything about the food cause I did not get a chance to try it, but service is lower than low. If you want to feel appreciated and respected this is not the...
Read moreLove it - and you won't read that coming from me very often, high praise has to be earned.
Great location, including a good people watching spot if that's your thing.
Nice interior, stylish, relaxing, not overcrowded. And CLEAN, Starbucks et al take note! We don't like tables you can't rest your arms on for fear of dirtying your clothes. And we certainly don't want to know what the table's previous occupants had ordered.
The staff are great, couldn't be friendlier. And it's table service.
Now for the moment of truth.......... The coffee is good. Way better than the average bucket full of tasteless black water you routinely get served throughout the UK. The gents know their business here and they care about customer service.
And if that wasn't enough its priced well.
Never tried many of the cakes but the one we shared was very good.
Me and my partner have been here twice now and it's been great each time. We will become regulars, little gems like this deserve to do well. Best of luck lads and keep up...
Read moreWaw! I'm so so happy I came across this lovely Turkish coffee shop. It is a coffee shop with such a homely feel. The owners are the loveliest people. The Turkish coffee is truly delicious. I spent a full day writing in the coffee shop and the team really looked after me. I had the Turkish kofta for lunch and I ate every last bit. It was really nice. The Turkish coffee is often served with a Turkish delight. The Baklava is so tasty and always presented with lovely bits of fruit, pistachio and walnut. The music in the coffee shop was so eclectic and interesting, from French oldies to Leonard Cohen, Turkish classics to music from Denmark. The customers who came and went were from all ages and they all left with a smile on their faces. There is a little terrace at the front, where it is nice to sit on a sunny day. The interior of the shop is so nice, with Turkish decor and lovely accents. I think I'm well on my way of becoming a regular in this coffee shop. I highly...
