No greeting when I walked in. I asked if he did bacon sandwiches. (Are usually go elsewhere the other side of town but thought I would give a different local business a chance)… he said he did and then disappeared asking if I wanted brown or white bread - I opted for brown.
I shouted to the back of the shop to reiterate, I wanted crispy bacon to be hot, please, with a small amount of brown sauce. A couple of minutes later he came to put the sandwich in a bag and charge me £3.40.
I wasn’t offered a napkin I had to ask .
When I went to eat bacon, it was cold and full of white rubbery fat - completely inedible . I opened up 1/2 and you can see how generous the filling was one - literally a piece of bacon and a fatty bit extra to fill a whole slice of bread sandwich.
Needless to say, I will never be visiting them again! I’m amazed they have stayed open as long as they have if this is the standard of their food, I found the wheelie bin and threw the whole lot away...

Loved the granary bread but sadly the egg yolk was hard but the egg was a bit undercooked and snotty, first time for me that.
