We visited Fullam Chinese Restaurant for my mum's birthday. It was probably the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The food was all very tasty. The ingredients used were fresh and the food came hot. I have never had such good Chinese food in my life, it was that good. We didn't want any spicy dishes either and that was listened to as well. You have to try the duck when you come here, it's truly something else. The cocktails and the desert was also really tasty and full of flavour - it may be a bit pricy but it is completely worth it for the food you get. Portions are actually a really good size too. The service was also pretty good. One of the waiters, Alan, is very friendly and jokey. The service is prompt and they deliver food without much of a wait; we didn't have to wait around for ages or wait for the bill either. You may want to book in advance for this place as it fills up quickly because of how good it is. Another advantage is it is right by the M&S carpark which is free from 6pm onwards. They serve their dinner menu from 5pm onwards. I really would recommend Fullham Restaurant if you want a really tasty meal with great service.

Excellent. My wife and I went with my elderly parents, who live locally and are both in their 90's, Alan ( who fronts ) was superb. Made sure they were seated in a nice bright area and was very attentive, particularly to them which made it a great lunch experience. I mentioned to Alan that my parents should have a ' lunch date' once a month using a taxi. He said absolutely and that I should not worry about them as he would always look after them ( I live 300 miles away) and ensure their safety and access as they are both on walking sticks/ walker frame. My father is a veteran and very well travelled, particularly in the far east/ Hong Kong etc but said it was one of the nicest meals he has had in a long while. Food was excellent along with the service.

2nd time we've eaten here & it certainly was as good as I remembered. In addition to the usual (almost expected) Chinese dishes, they offer great fish dishes such as Sweet & Sour Cod & Steamed Sea Bass plus a garlic & tomato king prawn starter. Also several Malaysian dishes. We had Crispy Chilli Beef; Nasi Goreng; Samba King Prawn & Mango & Plum Chicken. All lovely. Service was friendly & efficient & our food arrived quickly. They sanitise the tables & chairs between customers which is good to know. Best car park to use is the Cattle Market one as that is opposite the restaurant.

As always great service and amazing food. Being Mothering Sunday we expected the restaurant to be busy and it was but we were kept up to date with how long the next course would be. We were in no rush and had a fantastic time. To start, were a couple of orders of Won Tons and a couple of chicken satay. Followed by half a duck and all the trimmings. Plenty for the four of us, with more than enough veg (some places just don't give you enough!). Learning from past experience this was leisurely followed by fried rice for four, a chicken in black bean, sweet and sour chicken and a chicken chow mein. We use tp order two sweet and sour but one would never get touched. Mother in law had a pint and half of larger top, father in law had the Japanese beer he loved from last time (and the name I can't remember) but is really great but I was driving. So that's lemonade for me and a pint of diet coke for the wife (who doesn't drink but can't drive either as she fractured her elbow!!!)!!! If you get the chance and in the mood for great Chinese you must visit the Fullam...

The good thing they serve Halal chicken, I gave them a phone call to make sure and to ask about their opening hours, She answered the call professionally, The downside started once we arrived, the waiter was rude. In the beginning, he didn't want to let us in. He said it is only by reservation. Then I told him that I had called them and they did tell me that I had to make a reservation. He asked me to sit, asked the manager, then guided me to the table, and the place was not that busy. Then I asked him to tell me what are the halal options, he said that he will ask the manager and never came back, after 15 minutes, I went to ask him, he presented that he forgot and didn't apologise, he was really unwelcoming, he asked another lady and she siad only chicken.

The food was good, I liked the mango prawn. The noodles were Ok. Nice atmosphere, but a bad experience overall, will not recommend that...
