Baked Cheesecakes
Lemon curd or raspberry. A gluten free pastry base with a thick and creamy baked cheesecake layer, they are incredibly light. We would recommend pairing the lemon curd with a smooth, floral tea such as chamomile or try the raspberry option with our easy drinking organic gunpowder green tea. (Gf)
Coffee, Walnut & Cardamom Cake
It's such a lovely fluffy sponge, you wouldn't believe it's egg free.this goes beautifully with a pot of lapsing, or go coffee crazy and accompany with a mug of filter coffee. (V, vn)

Nice little.olace for a coffee an cake.

I have hanged my review from 4 star to 1 star. Came here for a meal with my family and the new system for ordering is over complicated. I just wanted to order food and sit and chat. Instead we had to scan in a code and go through putting an order online with a dodgy internet connection. With no alternative to read a menu and place an order while actually speaking to a human. Part of the fun of eating out is looking at the menu and chatting about who is ordering what. I appreciate the whole covid things makes it difficult but no other place I've eaten at has ever been this difficult I doubt I'll be coming back for more than just a coffee

The food Boss burger was mediocre, the burger itself had little flavour but was filled out by the other stuff on it.

Super salad was very nice and lots of flavours

Smoked bacon bap was tasty

Blueberry pancakes, my daughters said was off the chart, awesome.

The atmosphere of upstairs feels sparse it feels like they've just opened a store room and thrown some tables in there especially compared to the downstairs. The old church pews are a lovely touch and the only character in a carachterless room. BUT!! They need to be secured as they tip forward, church pews were never designed to free stand on there own and we had to sit carefully always aware that if we moved forward they would...

What a great experience! Before entering the door I pulled it 3 times before realising it is actually a push door. The layout of tables was really nice and easy to move around. The music played was really cool and I vibes heavily to it. The waitress who took my order was really nice. The prices were very reasonable for the food's size and tastiness. The food was delivered hastily and was very fulfilling. I ordered the breakfast and was not disappointed. The shake I ordered was the banana shake and it tasted like the bananas we actually eat, not the fake banana flavouring all the other products use. The cutlery was delivered in a tomato tin which is a unique way to recycle in the. opinion have. The lighting was cozy and brought the atmosphere together. It paired nicely with the view of the hill by the library and the sunny sky and the fluffy clouds. The only thing that was mildly unpleasant was the bottom of the table I sat at was too close to my legs which made it awkward when trying to scoot closer to the table. However not all tables have this issue. Overall the Boston Tea Party was the best restaurant I've been to for breakfast I would would recommend it and I shall be returning in the near...

Chose here for a quick pit stop before hitting the shops. To start with you have to order via your phone by scanning a bar code with phone camera, this took a while as I didn't have a clue and then realised I had to down load an app. This is fine if you have a mobile phone and roaming mobile data and phone savy. I tried to oder coffee and breakfast this took another 10 minutes for two of us. Then pay by card if you have one. Coffee arrived quickly but was cold. 20 minutes later food arrived. sisters pancakes were under cooked and yogurt had melted into milk and looked as some one had vomited over them. My sausage bap had been under a hot plate or the bread was stale. The sausage skin was inedible and sausages tasteless. My sister has been unwell and I wouldn't let her eat the pancakes and complained, they offered to cook more but I stated we had been waiting for food too long and food was not standard I expected from Boston tea party. he be grudgingly gave us a refund mumbling they were busy. And the toilets were disgusting and needed a good revamp. Wooden tables which were given a quick flip of a cloth...

Let’s but the not so good bits first, this is not the cleanest of places... the tables are cleared and wiped but by the design of the tables - wooden tops set in metal frames that leave a gap of next to nothing to about 3mm between the wood and the frame - the gaps just build up detritus (old food etc 🤢) that just gets older! And another of my pet hates the floors do not get swept until the end of the day and by mid afternoon it’s not good! Come on it’s only the use of a dust pan on a stick and a brush! Now the plus points: Coffee good, tea good, brownie very good, snacks and the food I saw looked good. Service good and some even very cheerful and 😊. Random point - I remember sitting on these tubular metal chairs in the 60’s !

Stopped here to do some work after visiting the area. Great little cafe. Gets very busy around lunch time. I had a ham, cheese and tomato toastie which was really nice, their chocolate brownie is also a must if you've a sweet tooth. Although I didn't try them, they do milk shakes and all sorts of other food and drinks. It was great to see vegan/dairy free options on their menu especially for their milkshakes as it's not often a place can cater for that. Their pay it forward scheme is great too, and I encourage anyone that can do, help to participate. One coffee, sandwich, or drink could really make a difference in someone's life. Looking forward to trying some of their other locations.

Lovely place! Dog friendly (and German shepherd friendly too which is rare!) and lovely tasty food. Great menu range catering for different diets (particularly vegan/vegetarian). Only downside is I wish I had more room leftover for cake at the end as the ones brought out to other tables looked delicious! Also I must say upon arrival I was a little worried it was a bit too up class for me, but despite the fact the surrounding tables were filled with seemingly very posh people (just from overhearing little snippets of their conversations) the staff still made me feel very much at ease and comfortable and I didn't feel out of place at all which was nice!
