Had the privilege of knowing Jenny prior to her opening the Lemon Tree Cafe and she always made amazing cakes! We have visited the cafe a few times and the food and service has been great, they go above an beyond to meet your needs, especially with my little man and my other 2 fussy eaters. We loved the food so much we asked Jenny if she would cater our wedding and she did not disappoint. She prepared an amazing afternoon tea, again catering to my family's beige appetite (my grandma loved the lemon cake!), and adding extra special to our perfect day. Would highly recommend whether it be catering an event or even just popping in for breakfast! Thank you Jenny and your amazing staff!

Fantastic Cafe, delicious decaf flat white which is always a good indicator. We both had a "Hawaiian" baguette/panini made with Devon ham, cheddar cheese and an amazing pineapple chutney. Absolutely delicious! The quality if the baguette though deserves a mention, the buy them from a general catering supplies company but bake them themselves and my goodness did they bake it perfectly! Crispy on the outside, soft on the outside without being in the slightest chewy like how most baguettes outside of France tend to be. 5 stars would definitely recommend!

This cozy café is an absolute delight. Tucked away from the bustling streets, it offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends. The staff here are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming experience from the moment you walk in. Prices are reasonable, making it an excellent spot for regular visits. If you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy great food in a cozy setting, this café is a must-visit!

I visited the Lemon Tree CafĂ© in Barnstaple recently and was disappointed with my meal. The service was friendly and efficient, but unfortunately the food and coffee didn’t live up to expectations. My coffee was bitter and lacked flavour, and the loaded hash browns were quite underwhelming — the sausage in particular had a strange taste and texture and unfortunately, I found a hair in my food. Overall, it felt like the ingredients were on the cheap side, and I didn’t really enjoy the meal. Sad not to have had the same great experience others have, but based on my meal and coffee today, I can't recommend this place and wouldn't choose...

Awesome place to visit. The staff are wonderful and add the Mature, happy, vibrant atmosphere that so many places lack. Won my vote and will visit more often. Ideally situated in Holland Walk a narrow lane that dates back to the early days of Barnstaple's historical splendour. Parking is a stone throw away in the old cattle market carpark and the high street nestles gently neatly a few yards away. Food is terrific, would ALWAYS recommend Jenny's homemade Breakfast wraps. By far superior to those Mcdonals ones. I had a Ferro Roche Latte,...
