Green Lanes Cafe — Restaurant in North Devon

Seriously, this place is amazing. The staff are so friendly, namely Katherine (sorry if that's not the right spelling). She was so lovely and smiley, super helpful and quick. The food was absolutely amazing, if you're wanting a cream tea, this is the place to go! Good helpings of cream, lovely warm scones, plain or fruit. Oh, and the chips there are amazing too! I need to come back and try some more of the stuff on their menu. Great value, brilliant quality and large, filling potions. Lots of seating, and a lovely aesthetic. I visited the cafe today on my first 'lunch date' with two small granddaughters. What a wonderful place! The staff could see I had my hands full and really looked after me. They brought both hot and cold water so I could prepare the baby's bottle, chatted and smiled at both baby and toddler and made me feel important and looked after. We were on holiday in Devon last week and stopped in Barnstaple for a meal break. We looked around and came across Green Lanes Cafe in the shopping precinct, it looked clean and the menu looked good so we went in, we ordered our food and when it was delivered to our table it was beyond our expectations.
