The Tavern — Restaurant in North Devon

A friendly pub with friendly staff and unlike Watergate, deserves full credit for employing decent, dedicated, competent and motivated door staff, as whilst I was recently passing by outside; I had a dangerous/violent robbery convict (banned from most pubs) trying to batter me outside, but was stopped from doing so by the doormen, even though he did not come from their premises and we were outside/on the street!

Was a bit merry, so rather than as me to leave, I was thrown about by my neck and treated like a piece of cattle and manhandled out of the building . I still have a sore neck and throat now, which is the next day!I would not recommend this place to anyone,as I would have been treated with more respect if I was a piece of meat..!
