I would award less than 1 if I could And here lies the tale of the cold curry! Ordered at 7.28 and said would take 40 minutes. 2 hours later.....after 6 calls with the driver, giving directions. 5 calls with the restaurant, during which both the driver and the restaurant hung up!! When the aforementioned cold curry arrived we suggested we didn't need nor want to pay for the meal. At this point the delivery driver argued that we should pay or he would take the food away. Hoping for a more reasonable response from the restaurant, we suggested he call them. Alas no! They too suggested we return the food! The moral of this tale is don't order from this restaurant if they get lost, because they don't give a, lets say "a monkeys" about customer satisfaction...

We were a group of people came from India & stayed in Hitchin for weeks. This restaurant impressed us so much that our dinner was almost booked for 90% of nights during our stay in Hitchin!

The staffs are really generous enough to ensure that we don't have any opportunity to miss taste of authentic Indian food. The hospitality was fabulous.

Regarding food items, we have tested almost all chicken dishes available in this restaurant apart from few veg dishes and can confirm all are very good in taste.

They also serve Beers like Kingfisher, Cobra and Bangla (বাংলা).......!!! That's icing on the package 🙂

Good, well spiced food, but slow service that was indifferent to the few customers in the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. The wrong order was brought to the table, and the food that was brought was not described. Also, a Sicilian Chianti was sold as a Bordeaux! An alternative wine was a solid supermarket offering.

The decor of the restaurant was interesting and spoke to character and potential largely unrealized. The management should think about slimming down the (very long and not very accessible) menu and focussing the menu on the Bengali (so said the indifferent waiter) and maritime themes that percolate the restaurant's...
