I've been here a few times now, however after my last visit I won't come again. Although the atmosphere and setting is nice (nice decoration and plants) the menu is very limited. They only have a few cakes and a few options of toast. Everything is very pricey. I visited the other day with my mum, the food I got was flavourless. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk (as I don't drink cows milk). I tasted the drink and new there was no oat milk in it. My mum went up and asked, and the guy serving was extremely rude to her and said that I didn't ask for oat milk when I did, and my mum told him again that I did. The woman who made the drink even came over and said how she made it with no oat milk. I got another one and I could taste the oat milk luckily. Once we left, my mum thanked him and he didn't smile or say anything, he just stared when we walked out and my mum even said that he was rude. I've seen other reviews about how the staff behave and the lack of flavour in the food so I recommend...

Ate breakfast here today with my daughter and her friend. Ordered pancakes, waffles and eggs on toast. Disappointingly for the price, neither the pancakes or waffles were made fresh (out of a packet, barely warmed up) The scrambled eggs were bland and unseasoned- there was no salt mill on our table, so I went over to the counter and asked the waitress if we could have some. She said there should be salt on our table, I explained again that we didn’t have any. The waitress then procured a salt mill from another table of diners, slammed it hard onto our table and flounced back behind the counter, where she audibly bitched about the apparent inconvenience of it all to her colleagues. The 3 of us were completely stunned by the level of rudeness displayed! A bill of almost £50 for a totally underrated breakfast and appalling service. We only came in here as Fabios wasn’t opening til 11am, would highly recommend going there instead for their fresh waffles and friendly staff. Avoid...

I went to this caffè for the first time after moving in Hitchin. When I asked at the till if I could take a menu and sit at a free table they barely looked at me and only said "yes", didn't bother telling me where the menus were and said I should get back there to order. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, which included fresh greens, poppy seeds and chilli flakes. I asked if it was possible to have it without chilli flakes. They said there was no problem so I confirmed the order. After 20 minutes, the dish arrives with chilli flakes. I pointed out the mistake so the waiter kindly said she would take care of it. Shortly after I got a slice of bread with eggs on toast with nothing else on it. No explanation related to why there was no fresh greens or poppy seeds on my toast. I was quite disappointed considering the price. It might have been an...

Busy Saturday afternoon But we managed to find a seated place Coffee was made to perfection, blueberry muffin to die for, yummy cookie ,the rest a bit mehh ,panini had a very dull flavour, or I'd rather say just an average. Toasted parmaham croissant was nothing special ... feels like they serve food for quantity, not quality. Some dishes need improvement. Girls who served us were nice, polite, professional, and helpful Displays looked nice and inviting on a counter Price's not cheap. On a busy afternoon to have only one toilet working is unhygienic, as kids men and lad9es going for the same one. There is no time to clean .... hopefully, the next visit will be much better

Nice new spot in town. Coffee was fantastic and food was served promptly. We enjoyed the meal and also shared a nice croissant. Taken off a star as we found it slightly pricey and the hot food menu a bit limited (multiple variations on scrambled eggs and smashed avocado). My order came with chilli flakes and poppy seeds on though it was not specified in the description, which could be an issue for some, and the eggs could’ve been warmed through a bit more. Otherwise a nice meal! Hopefully the menu will expand a bit as they settle in - will definitely be back for coffee in the meantime!

The inside is impeccably clean with a bright airy feel inside. (Difficult to believe this use to be a shoezone!!) You order up at the front counter and they bring the food and drinks to you. Although we did have a minor mistake with our scrambled eggs, (I asked for no chilli flakes and it came with them) it was rectified quickly and with no fuss at all. The scrambled eggs themselves were very tasty and creamy; the sourdough bread was also delicious. All in a fully rate this place for a lovely light breakfast or brunch.
