Well if I have to go into Lockdown two I’m taking a couple of great bottles with me from these folks. Please shop local folks and support amazing businesses like this that offer so much more than just a product on a shelf. The team here go the extra mile that's for sure, from WSET classes, food pairing nights, cheese & wine evenings to private party hosting for those cosey nights out with friends. Since I first visited some time ago now this has been my destination of choice whether I want advice on wine or a pleasant evening with friends.

Fabulous wine, delicious cheese & charcuterie boards topped off with exceptional service from Dom. The bar has a great look and feel. It’s chic without being over-done. The selection of wine had something for all tastes and we heard others being given suggestions for their wine flight - a selection of 3 wines. We came away having had a great time there and 2 bottles to take away! All in all, a great afternoon all round.

Went to a super wine tasting event on Saturday afternoon at wee vinoteca Hitchin. We tried 4 white wines, had some loved snacks and met some lovely ladies who were seated at our table. I'd definitely go to another one... and I plan to revisit for a cheeky glass of vino and cheese board. Such a lovely, friendly place . Thanks. I came away with a cheeky bottle of Greek wine and can't wait to share it with friends x

I have been visiting the Wee Vinoteca for the past few years as a subscription member, and I've attended numerous events led by their knowledgeable staff. Each visit to the shop is not just a shopping trip; it's an enjoyable educational experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where I never feel intimidated.

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending the WSET Level 2 course, and it was a truly enriching experience that allowed me to dive deeper into the world of wine. With so much to learn, I was particularly impressed by Duncan's teaching resources and his exceptional ability to clarify complex concepts. While wine knowledge can seem limitless, I now feel much more confident in selecting wines and understanding their key characteristics.

Overall, I highly recommend the Wee Vinoteca to anyone looking to explore wine in an inviting and supportive...

Myself and 5 friends visited this wine bar for a cheese and wine tasting, we only had 1 cheese board for 6 people, 2 people went without certain cheeses as there wasn’t enough !!!! As for the wine tasting 1 of the party had to ask for more in her glass as it definitely was a taster glass barely filled the bottom of the glass !! Very poor experience, we will not be visiting there again!!! IT COST US £35 per person that’s £210 in total I fully understand they have to make a profit but please not this much !!!! Absolutely disgraceful My husband spoke and emailed the manager his response was when they come back I will sort it !! Well we won’t be coming back therefore how are you going to compensate this...

Having taken the WSET Level 1 award here, I decided to take the plunge and go to Level 2. This is quite a big step up in terms of knowledge and commitment and Duncan presented it over 6 evenings of 2.5 hours each. (3 x Tue & Weds) with the exam on the following Tuesday. As before, Duncan is excellent - immensely knowledgeable, his passion for the subject comes through clearly as he steered the 7 of us through the course. He must have taught thousands of people how to taste wine and yet he still does this with enthusiasm, patience and humour. A great course, delivered by a great teacher. I'd highly...
