The food here is really nice. The 3-meat sandwich could feed a family of lions. (The photo I've added was a fraction of the sandwich). The scone was warm, fresh, and spankin' gorgeous! Nice pot of tea to go with it. The staff were lovely and personable. Highly recommended for a quaint British lunch! We had a late lunch so the restaurant was quiet but they played good music for us. I imagine during busy periods there's a lovely atmosphere, reminiscent of way back when.

This place is fantastic. Such lovely friendly people and the food is truly excellent. Fresh and extremely generous portions. I had a ham and cheese ploughman’s and my partner had a Cromer crab sandwich, both were delicious and the ploughman’s would have fed two people. The menu is extensive but freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. There is also a lovely garden to sit in with a fish pond and beautiful plants. Welcome shade for us on a hot day. Great place.

If your in the town then this is the place to eat. The best little cafe in town with great prices, large portions and daily specials. I’ve had the best fish here and now the best warm chicken salad. A proper salad with grated carrot, olives, sweet corn etc nothing boring. Their new potatoes served proper with good real butter and salt on. The owners, Bob, Christine and James are so welcoming too. Such a little Gem of a place.

Cromer's hidden gem, tucked away up a side street opposite the church. Clean, unpretentious & homely with wonderfully friendly service. Sue thoroughly enjoyed her home cooked gammon ham salad. As usual I had their tasty home-made pie of the day ... but the neighbouring table had sausage & mash - I'm having that next time! Gravy on both dishes is awesome, side dish of vegetables is included & they are excellent value (£16). Meat, bread etc all locally sourced & fresh. We live 30 mins. from Cromer & know the town well, so Browne's is now our restaurant of choice whenever we visit. I recommend you explore Cromer to find it & you'll join the growing throng of devotees of...

We popped in for a comer crab sandwich as a takeaway. It was very busy inside but as we had a dog we sat outside to wait in the lovely. Courtyard garden. The man who took our order was really nice and helpful asking us exactly what we wanted and we were not disappointed. Crqb sandwich, salad, crisps, beetroot, coleslaw and all put in a square takeaway container with wooden cutlery, napkins and condiments. Yummy. They also serve vegan food and we could hear from staff talking to customers about the food they do it sounded lovely. Defo...

What an absolute gem of a place this is. My wife and I had two Cromer Crab salads and they were absolutely amazing. The crab meat in the dressed crab was plentiful and so fresh, as was the accompanying salad and new potatoes. The staff who worked both on the tables as well as in the kitchen were very friendly, warm and welcoming and the chef made a point of asking if we had enjoyed the dishes which we had. Take the time to find this delightful establishment as you will not be disappointed. Thank you for a...
