Fantastic place hidden in the heart of Holt. If you're an ale and craft beer fan, you need to go here. Luke, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and stock is constantly changing so no 2 visits are the same. A great selection of local and exotic gins and rums are also available along with a selection of quality snacks and side platters. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be heading back soon (and repeatedly).

North Norfolk’s greatest craft beer bar. The only pub around here that constantly have great options on tap (not generic Camden Hells or similar posing as craft beer). There is always something for every palate on draught tap and if once you’ve worked your way through them there is a fridge filled with all the best cans out there!! Service is always with a smile. Just a great little gem of a bar!!

The Chubby Seal craft beer place is a find , tucked down a side alley in the back streets of Holt . An amazing selection of craft beers and lagers. A small place with a few tables outside and space for a dozen or so inside. But the enjoyment of the beer and the snacks make it a place well worth seeking out.

North Norfolk’s greatest craft beer bar. The only pub around here that constantly have great options on tap (not generic Camden Hells or similar posing as craft beer). There is always something for every palate on draught tap and if once you’ve worked your way through them there is a fridge filled with all the best cans out there!! Service is always with a smile. Got charged £12 for a pint.! Sent this email… no response.. Hi I have just noticed that I was charged £12 for a pint of beer on Friday 7th Feb 2025. I was on my own, and there were only 2 other people in the pub. I guess your cctv can show that. I assume the cost would have been shown on screen before it was presented to the card machine - so I’m not sure why the payment was continued by the barman. I wasn’t showed the terminal prior to tapping my card - or I would have noticed the amount. I await...

When asked if they have any sweet or fruity Belgian beers, the bartender was confused and appeared to be overwhelmed by the 3 other customers who were waiting to be served on the Christmas switch-on evening... She said we don't have any, was passive aggressive, and asked her colleague to help me. Her colleague was more friendly, he recommended some beers they had in the fridge, which I tried - but the initial service really put me...
