Such a shame, never had to write a review ever.,
My boyfriend told me it was really nice in here before the pandemic so I was keen to try it but Iām not gonna lie, we were really disappointed. Weāll start with the positives first.
Positives: -The lady that finally got round to serving us was polite and the drinks came quickly after we finally got to order the food took 25 minutes to come and we got the chicken burger, the chicken and onion rings were actually nice! š
Negatives: when we were seated the gentleman who took our drinks didnāt offer a food menu, after 15 minutes we asked the gentleman for a menu he said āyeah two secondsā he mustāve forgotten as we waited 15 minutes and had to ask a lady for one she came back within 30 seconds but then didnāt come back for 10 minutes to take the food order we had to get up and ask her to order. the food didnāt come for 25 minutes so it got to an a hour and we had no food. The menu stated we got coleslaw and seasoned fries, no coleslaw to be found and the fries definitely werenāt seasoned the toilet door in the ladies doesnāt close so I had to sit and hold it closed whilst someoneās dirty mask sat on the floor by my feet (which I understand might not be the staffs fault) then a customer requested they turn the volume on for the tv so they turned down the nice atmospheric music and blasted a show about renovating ... Iām ngl I wasnāt interested in Kerry and Davidās house investment I enjoyed the music but atleast that customer got to enjoy the tv show. the food isnāt worth the price and we ordered a kopperburg and pint, which came to Ā£9.50! Eeeeeeeeshhhhhh
Disappointed to...

The staff are exceptional ā attentive, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about their impressive range of drinks, especially the whiskies.
While I didnāt order food during my visit, the dishes I saw being served looked absolutely amazing ā beautifully presented and incredibly appetizing. The pub is clearly a place that takes pride in every aspect of what they offer.
The ambiance is perfect, blending traditional charm with a lively buzz, making it a great spot for catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet drink. They even cater to sports fans with Sky Sports, ensuring thereās something for everyone.
If youāre in Tynemouth, donāt miss out on The Turks Head ā itās a standout destination that Iāll be returning to again and again. Highly...
Read moreCumberland arms about 150yds down the road pint of San Miguel and a single vodka with soda water £7.45. Turks head pint of Peroni and a single vodka and soda water £10.25!!!! Please explain, either a pint of Peroni is almost £3 more than san Miguel or you charge almost £3 for a dash of soda water! Will be staying in the Cumberland next time, which I definitely recommend more anyway since the refurb and new management. Daylight robbery! Just to add the new tynemouth castle inn is only £9 for the same drinks! Come on!
I see you have posted a reply! But no explanation of the extortionate price, I guess you donāt want to admit that you charge a stupid amount for something that costs...
