Been here a few times and I have highly recommended it, but today was a very bad experience Booked table for 1pm, no probs Ordered food Waited Over 1hr for food (I've seen it a lot busier) Food came out in drips n drabs, some of the dishes were missing Ordering drinks was the same, Waitress spilled arribiatta sauce(quite a bit) on my pants and shoes Highly disappointed visit **reply to owner** Firstly, my daughter was not near the waitress, my daughter was on my right and the waitress on my left, I was inbetween hence why the sauce landed on me Secondly, we were not informed of a wait for food And if I want to write a bad review I will, that's the point of a review, so people can see how a place has been rated, excellent or in your case on this particular day very disappointing As I have said in previous review, it's normally excellent I will put it down to yous being 'very busy' but not as busy as previous visits

Went for breakfast this morning in tynemouth. Didn't book so we went to the first place that was open which was Ora. We were greeted by a lovely lady who took us to a seat outside and took our drinks order. Table was very clean and a spacious area. Ordered the king breakfast for both me and my partner. Came out within about 7 minutes. Large portion and very nicely cooked. Poached eggs were perfect. The black pudding was to die for and very rich tasting. Pleasant experience and friendly polite staff

Tapas are excellent tasty . Individuality in the dishes is suttle but there. Not all 1 sauce. Chicken wings are Huge again and tasty to boot. Tapas is a big part of the menu and for a good reason there pretty good. Main menu steak and lobster 33 pound cooked perfect the steak the lobster isn't local and tiny , too much money. It's 4 star looks and 3 and half taste . Tapas is 4 star all day and night . Disability friendly. Family friendly. Free parking after 6.00 .Check ticket machine.

Eleven of us went here for a family birthday meal and we had a mixed up kind of night. First thing to mention would be the food was fantastic. However this is where its a bit of a mixed review we were sat in a room at the top of the restaurant appropriately called the attic. Its an ideal room for a gathering as its just one big table so you have the room to yourselves but means you're out of sight. We eventually ordered drinks which they got wrong, however did fix this but it wasn't a good start. We didn't get a menu given to us for about an hour after being there. The meals eventually started to arrive however they came in dribs and drabs which meant some of us were finished our meal before others had even received theirs and one person's meal was completely missed off so she had to eat well after we all had finished. I think the young people serving us tried their best but I don't think they had the experience to realise just how poor the service was. Eventually and only after one of our party went downstairs to talk about how poor we thought the experience was a supervisor appeared and couldn't apologise enough. She managed to smooth the situation and offered a big reduction in the bill and offered to pay for a round of drinks and give our dessert for free. This was appreciated but could have been avoided if there was some leadership and direction given to the young team. Not entirely sure if we could recommend this restaurant, the food was great but not our experience so not sure...

Whilst the food was good, the service has room for improvement. The decor of the restaurant was nice and well suited.

We were originally late for our table booking by ten minutes or so (we did phone them to let them know) but the table took 30minutes to get ready. Our table of six was squeezed onto what should have been a comfortable table for 4.

Once sat down, we ordered food and drinks as normal. Two dishes were served as starters and cleared. Between clearing and mains arriving was far too long. Our table didn't pick up on the time lapse due to enjoying the company present until it became obvious that two separates tables arriving after us, were served mains before our table. We raised the issue with the servers and sure enough the mains were served shortly after. Food was served hot and well presented. A sirloin steak which was ordered medium rare was served well done. The waiter swapped this dish straight away for a freshly cooked steak. The grilled chicken was dry, oven cooked and lacked flavour.

Once we had finished our mains, the server half cleared the table before starting to clear a second table. A short while after the rest of the table was cleared.

Our table decided to pass on dessert and the bill was brought over almost instantly compared to the rest of the meal. The restaurant had a nice offer for two, dining with drinks offered which were branded but even drinks took too long to be served despite a bar being on the same floor as the...

Edited to add- 'Owner' on Google accepts responsibility and apologises, Thank you. Yes on Trustpilot they slate us and say the customers were the problem despite another independent review about the service on the same day. Trying to blame us saying we were rude, impatient and the cause of the spilled drink. Shame on 'S K', absolute disgrace.

What a waste of time. Breakfast "service" was a joke. Wrong drink served (don't think they realise at all, I didn't like to complain about just that) meaning a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows being served with no saucer spilling all over the table and no tea spoon, followed by a 45 minute wait for food with no updates, people arriving after us served food first, crumpets cold and unbuttered, half a slice of overcooked bacon, hash browns unable to be cut as falling to pieces (undercooked), egg overcooked, no butter with toast, no cutlery offered- would be great if I could stop there, but the final issue was specifically a black coffee being served with a small pot of milk (who knows why?) which ended up all over my husband. It was the final straw so we left immediately. No, we didn't pay.

I didn't hear one compliment from any customer whilst we were the there, table next to us said they agreed it was definitely not worth the wait.

When we left there were about 3 other tables inside and 4 outside, so it was definitely not because they...
