Really disappointing. Ordered a kebab wrap, dripping with grease, the wrap was wet through with it and the plate I put it onto had a pool of grease turning into lard. I called to say it was inedible, the girl said to bring it back and I said I don't really want to as everyone else's dinner is here and that will be cold. She put me into Bradley who spoke to me as if I was lying. He said. " The kebab is a bit greasy?" No it's not just greasy it's dripping and the wrap is wet like it's been dipped in oil. His response, "well have you had one from here before is it more greasy than usual?" Yes, it's dropping in it. His response, " well I don't know how, it's the same kebab meat and its cooked the same way so it can't be any different" I said I'm not going to stand here and argue the toss with you, I'm looking at it I can't send you photos if you like. He then went on to say his name was ....... ....... and I could find him on facebook, i could send the photographs to him on there. My other half just said save the hassle I'll take it back down. Had to take it on the plate because if the pool of grease on there. Quality of customer service clearly matches the quality of the food. Other half was treated with more respect on arrival back at the shop and the kebab was replaced with one that was properly cooked.(surprising as he is burley looking biker!) Boss was clearly not there and staff not caring about his business in his absence. Really poor. This was always the best chippy. We won't be spending our money there again. Ordered here on 12 August — two mixed kebabs and sides. The chicken kebab was raw inside (pink and cold).

Tried calling (number didn’t work), so I rushed back before closing. Staff refused a refund, offered an exchange (which I declined, as I’d lost all confidence in their food safety), and insisted it was cooked. Later, the establishment called me — not to apologise, but to shout at me, call me a liar, and question how I’d handle the situation “better.”

My partner then returned the full order in person, but the owner continued to argue in a heated manner and again refused the refund. Serving raw chicken is a serious health risk, and the way this was handled was unprofessional and unacceptable. I will not be returning.

Placed a order via phone, ordered arrived now chicken and mushroom pie, phoned up said they would send one out, pie arrived was freezing cold, caught the driver said she would be back in two minutes, twenty minutes later no pie, phoned shop said not sending another one out as pie was 40 degrees, pie was stone cold, no sorry from person on the phone, customer service doesn’t exist, will never be going to this...
