Maya Restaurant — Restaurant in North Warwickshire

Had a trip here a few weeks ago, but I forgot to post a review! We have been here a few times now, and the food is always fantastic, I have met the head chef, and he is very knowledgeable about his food and recommendations! I'm the kind of person who likes to get the chef to recommend something as I can never pick. Great atmosphere and front of house very well ran, with very friendly staff. I recommend garlic chilli nantara (if that's how it's spelt) Thanks for a great experience every time we come. What a little gem!

I nearly forgot to add that I saw so many certificates and paper articles and stuff around the place for their great work and food they do!

We went as a group of 5 (3 adults, 2 kids) and ordered drinks, starters, and one main. The waiter insisted we “must” order more mains, even though no such rule is mentioned, and told me I “should know.” He was also eating while taking our order — very unprofessional. We cancelled the food, paid for drinks, and left disappointed.

We had a group booking for 10 in the early evening at 6pm, there was adequate parking on site and it wasn't too busy when we got there - on Tuesday's they have an offer to get any starter, any main with naan/rice for £12!

Service was prompt and efficient - waiters looked after us and came round to clear empty plates and take any drinks orders for people with empty glasses without being prompted.

The food also arrived in good time. Little details like serving on hot plates and thoughtful presentation was nicely appreciated. The dishes were fresh, tasty and of decent quality, everyone cleared their plates! Overall, an enjoyable atmosphere and definitely a restaurant you would come...
