Visited on a Thursday night with the fam. Got the set meal special 1 starter and 1 main under £20. The set meal was a good portion plus rice/naan/salad included with main. The chicken pakora was delicious, crispy and well seasoned. Overall great service however a couple main dishes were extremely sweet. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma taste of honey or added sugar. The Sag Chicken, Monk Fish, Salmon Bhuna, pilau rice, and garlic naan were my family favorites. Staff was helpful explaining dishes and acommodated for dairy allergies and pescatarian. Also the poppadom and chuntey starter was sooooo good! First time trying both and didn't dissapoint.

Really nice food. Best peshwari naan I’ve ever had. Good selection. Everyone happy with what they ordered and what arrived. Loses one star as others have said I felt a bit rushed. And prices on the website didn’t match up with the menus but maybe they are just showing takeaway prices or something. For example says £7.50 for the Korai on website but £11.95 on menu in restaurant.

Had a sit in meal, the food was really good , the place nice and clean tidy, they kept the covid rules , I would get from Bangla again. If anything was a bit of a spoiler that it was quite cold 🥶 while sitting there, the room not the food. Staff wise not very attentive even though there was only 20 people in there,

Unless you're eating in, don't bother ordering from here. Was my mothers birthday and I thought I'd get her an Indian, a man answered the phone and took our order. So i walked down through the storm and brought it home, it was the wrong order. First they forgot something and second they gave us wrong food, mine was fine but gave my mother the wrong dish. So we called up and complained, this time a lady answered and they apologized and said they'll get what's missing and the correct order to us asap (they said there would be extra money to pay). Over 40 minutes later it still hasn't arrived, so we called up and complained, man answered the phone (the man who took the original order) and was denying blame. At that moment as we were on the phone saying we wanted to just cancel it because it was taking too long (took over 40 mins) the delivery showed up, but we felt we should not be paying due to the wait to correct the order, the fact it was wrong in the first place. Then the man on the phone hungup as we were complaining. Just opened the order, they forgot a part of the tandoori chicken tikka shazlek. Didn't bother calling to complain as clearly the man on the phone didn't care about the...

Was in last night with a family member. And really wasn't impressed. The menu was extensive but not very clearly laid out. I ordered the tandoori tikka with chips as opposed to rice. The tikka dish arrived but waited quite a few minutes on the chips. By that stage the chicken tikka was barely warm. And, honestly there must've only been about 5 pieces of chicken in alot of sauce. Not great. The food was honestly on par with the Tesco frozen ready meals. Very expensive for not much food. Then on arrival home, my husband asked about where I had been eating out. He proceeded to tell me about the whole saga this place has had with their hygiene rating. *Very dishonest * Being fined for displaying a false hygiene rating. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Honestly, my 4 year old wouldn't have been full from the portion size. Disappointing as it did have a nice interior but that would be the...

Get you in, get you fed, get you out.

I had heard good reviews for this restaurant and was looking forward to a meal here. Were booked for 7pm on a Saturday and were to only customers in the place. It did start to fill up about 30 mins later. As soon as we arrived, we were directed to a table and papadum were brought along with the menu. Almost before we had a chance to open the menus we were asked if we would like to order. There is a huge difference between attentive service and being made to feel you are a number on a production line. We felt rushed.

There is a good choice on the menu and the food was adequate and reasonable presented. I have had worse, but I have also had better. The restaurant is licensed but you can bring your own and there is no corkage.

As for price, I found it unexpectedly expensive.

It was a nice enough experience but I won’t be in a...
