Bob & Berts Lisburn — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Came for a spot of lunch today and was appalled by the service. Usually I try not to leave bad reviews but honestly this was not good. I ordered a hot dog which on the menu clearly states comes with chips. My food was served and no chips arrived. I decided to give them a few minutes and double checked the menu to make sure chips were included. I then asked the girl at the counter if chips come with a hot dog order to be triple sure. She confirmed they did and when I said I hadn’t received mine, she said “can you give me a minute” and walked away. She asked who had served me and then disappeared to serve other people. Meanwhile I waited at the till while other people were served and my food was going cold with no indication that anyone was going to get back to me. Finally I asked the other girl if I would be receiving any chips and I was told she “could order some for me if I wanted them, but that she would have to pay for them” I asked her why she would have to pay for them if I had already paid for the meal which came with chips and she explained she had not entered it on the till properly. This doesn’t take away from the fact that I ordered the hot dog which comes with chips and thus had already paid for them. Overall confusing and the staff were not very communicative or helpful.

Again I do not enjoy complaining and I really hope I caught them on a bad day, but if this is the standard then I am thoroughly...

Was in the store last week with a friend. There were only decaf coffees but we ordered anyhow, I got mine done with soya milk and my friend’s was just ordinary milk. The drinks were sat down on the tray with no communication from the staff on which was the soya and which wasn’t (which would’ve been nice as i’m vegan) and I couldn’t ask a member of staff as they all seemed busy/kept walking away which is understandable although they looked unapproachable without a smile in sight.

We also ordered food, I ordered the falafel wrap which was really tasty but a hilarious £8.50. My curry chip came out in a tiny coffee cup. Which I was going to complain there and then but the staff were already too busy.

My friend had ordered chicken goujons and chips and to call it a child’s portion would be an understatement.

Slow service, overpriced items, small portions....

Went in with my wife and a wee pup age 12 weeks wee girls who were working were smiling at the pup were my wife was sitting. Then after 10min the same wee girl said the manager said you have to leave and drink your coffee outside. No dogs was mad went up and asked for the manager the woman comes out the manager with glasses and was very rude and nasty about it I told her the wee pup was sitting on my wife knee and was sleeping not doing any harm. It was a pup not a big dog going mad she again very rude told her I will make a complaint she just laughed at me and when I was leaving she started singing bye bye love you very rude person and how she got manager I will never know .never will I go back there again went to cafe nero .avoid this place staff and manager definitely the manager very rude and...
