Waited 10 mins at the door to be seated. Then waited 45 mins for a pizza and calzone but when they finally arrived ,the calzone was burnt all underneath which was inedible and the pizza base was bland with no flavour. They did offer another one to replace the burnt one but we did not want to wait another 45mins for it and with the staffs attitude to customer service, its likely that would have been same .On the pepperoni pizza,it comes with peppers that never come with it at all. We've eaten pizzas and calzones in various places which have been excellent including having a wood fired one at a steam festival that was full of flavour and produced from a dough ball to a finished product in under 15 minutes do it's not difficult. Also, if you sit by the window ,look up at the lights etc, they are full of cobwebs which doesn't seem to bother the staff or management - not very nice as the air-conditioning was on and bits of fluff was coming down! There were many tables that had never been cleaned and even when we left over an hour later, they had still not been cleared! We would never return again, the staff don't seem to be bothered at all and lack guidance or basic training .All the above of our abysmal experience at this restaurant makes a mockery of the five star hygiene rating this establishment is displaying on the door. Quite frankly one would have...

Arrived at the door with few people in front waiting on a table so waited for member of staff to let us know how long a table could be (pretty standard practice in everywhere I have been) 10 -15 minutes pass and a couple walk in asking is this the Que for table we say yes husband walks in an staff member immediately speaks to him and takes his name and says come back in 30 minutes. I then walk in and assuming he was the manager I explain the above and he says it will be 45minutes! Obviously frustrated I explained I had been patiently waiting and under the impression that you cannot book tables but yet he and all other staff have ignored us and taken a booking ahead of us!

To which he scoffs and gestures around and says well we’re busy and people are just coming in and putting their name down!

What a complete shock that a restaurant would be busy at dinner time on a Saturday night! The managers attitude was terrible and to not look into your doorway where you have a seating area to meet customers is ridiculous.

Such a bad experience and if that is how the manager talks to or makes customers feel I wouldn’t hold out much hope for the staff he...

Had a nice lunch in Little Wing, Lisburn this afternoon. We arrived at around 12.20pm and it was already quite busy but we were seated in a nice booth immediately.

The restaurant itself is very light, open and modern and the staff were very friendly. We got garlic bread for starters to share, which was very good. I got the Picante pizza and my son ordered a make your own with 2 toppings, which ended up being £2 more expensive for less toppings on his, than my off the menu pizza. I did feel that an extra £4.50 for 2 toppings on an 11" pizza was a bit expensive.

Another negative point is that they don't sell garlic mayo, sour cream or even blue cheese dip which was a disappointment because who doesn't love dipping their pizza crusts?!? The server did offer a garlic and parsley butter, but I felt like that was more likely to be something you add to the pizza rather than dip your crusts into!

I definitely would go to Little Wing again, as the...

Food very nice but extremely slow service. Place wasn’t too busy and what other tables there were seemed equally as annoyed. From what I could see the hold up was a young lady working on the pizza ovens who clearly wasn’t having a great day. Ordered the rocket salad which should have come dressed but it didn’t. Asked the staff but they said there was none. It was on the menu though and we’d had it before dressed. To not even offer an alternative wasn’t very attentive. The salad was basically rocket leaves and Parmesan. Kids dessert was on the menu as coming with hot chocolate and marshmallows but it never came. Had to chase this up.

Halloween weekend drive to Northern Ireland and this was a perfect stop over !! Based on a recommendation we stopped over and the ambience , taste and service was really good. we had the house specials that day and Bruschetta as a side. Definitely a recommendation if your driving back or towards the coast of Northern Ireland from Dublin. We also liked the interior graphics at the restaurant.
