Captain Cooks — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Stopped into captain cooks with a few family members today after a very busy day, as of entering the building the staff were so welcoming and had drink orders taken then after a quick meal decision the order was taken. Our food took only 10-15 which was extremely good considering the fact I personally ordered the roast beef dinner. The meal was to perfection, the roast beef practically melted in my mouth! The mash and roast potatoes were so creamy and fluffy and the carrots and broccoli weren't too soft nor too hard, just right. The gravy coating my whole meal was so rich and exploded with flavour! I cannot point out a single flaw with this meal! Every time I walk through the doors into captain cooks I know I'm in for a treat. The staff was so kind and generous and beautifully well mannered. My meal was so huge that it just about flitted on my plate! I was shocked by how good it looked and how much there was! I had finished half the meal and was stuffed but it was too good to leave so I gladly brought it home! The meal was so huge for a brilliant price! 5...

Extremely long wait times. 2 hours + for delivery and up to 1 hour for collection. Ordered food last night, no roast potatoes which was fine so they said they would add additional mash. I agreed that was OK. Went to collect my order. Wasn't ready after 30 mins, had to wait an additional 10 mins. Food was rotten, must have easily used half a tin of peas with most of the water still not drained properly. Chicken certainly wasn't a breast, have no hesitation it was frozen. Oh and to top that, when collecting it they told me they had no mash! So just give chips instead. Would of been nice to have been told this when ordering but just assuming people will be OK with what they are substituting the food with is just rude! Parts of order also missing. Absolutely lovely lady works here , probably the best customer service experience I've ever encountered when I have the pleasure of ordering from here , I'm truly greatful for how happy she always is and has such a kind heart , my only regret is not asking her name out of fear of being rude , however I beleive everyone will know who she is , and I hope this reaches her , she is one of a kind , goes above and beyond, thank you so much for being a lovely kind hearted human , especially on days when I feel down shes managed to turn that around , that is not only a skill but an...
