Unfriendly and dismissive staff spoiled the experience at this cafe. Upon entry, there was no greeting. The person at the counter, obscured by a peaked cap, was aloof. My concern about the oat milk's taste prompted condescending laughter from the staff. A woman reluctantly explained the oat milk's behavior in hot coffee while rolling her eyes and expressing annoyance. Although the food was tasty, the overall service was severely lacking: zero points for customer service, poor communication, and unsatisfactory service. The frosty demeanor of the staff significantly detracted from the meal.

It was a very nice cafe, wasn't busy at all for a Saturday morning. The guy that greeted us was lovely. I phoned ahead to see if they aloud dogs inside and they did. Food was delicious and very filling, think anyone on this saying the portions weren't that big has took a photo half way of eating their food!!! Food was very well presented too. Place was very clean for a dog friendly cafe too. We will definitely be back 🥰 thank you. P.S the sausage in the box (last photo)was my dogs that I had asked for 😊 .

Was here on New Year’s Day and it was one of the few places open. £8.50 for a scone, tea and flat white. The scone was fresh and very nice. The table next to us had finished their drinks but their scones had been forgotten about and they had to ask. They should have been given free drinks or top ups. No toilet roll in the toilet - well, the dispenser was full but you couldn’t get any. Hand dryer wasn’t working either.

Looked like a nice shop from the outside. When entering we were seated by one of the 8 staff that were there (8 staff and 4 customers). The menu we were given was quite small in options and rather expensive. I opted for the cauliflower soup as there was nothing else on the menu that was interesting. My partner had the eggs Benedict which tasted like it was soaked in syrup. We were not sure if it was the bread of the ham hock which was drenched. It was quite sickly and felt ill about 10mins after leaving the shop. The staff were nice just an awful lot of them standing about doing nothing. Seemed like a waste of wages. There appeared to be no direction with them. There were freshly baked goods like sausage rolls etc that were on the counter which we noticed when leaving. The staff member never offered these when handing over the menu. I feel they could definitely sell alot more if the right things are prompted to customers. I understand it is a new shop but I feel the owners could do much better with training and...

Went in for lunch at 2pm on a Saturday. Ordered 2 burrito bowls and 1 pancake, along with a tropical smoothie, a mango smoothie and fizzy water. Waitress apologised... No burritos left, no tropical smoothie and no mango smoothie. That's OK, I said, and looking at the fairly limited menu, decided on the pulled pork sandwich... NONE LEFT EITHER. Ended up getting a tasteless chicken and arvo sandwich on wafer thin bread, and the wife went for the melon and feta salad... Advertised as including a variety of heritage tomatoes, beans and microleaves.....trading standards should be called, as it was rocket, basic cherry tom's, feta and 4 cubes of melon that would only just pass for a side salad (£9 BTW). Our daughter enjoyed the pancakes and orange smoothie, but we left wondering what we were going to eat for lunch.... Utterly underwhelming and disappointing, will not...

I'm about ready to give up on Fine.

My experience about 12 months ago was great with a nice lunch and dessert treat. I went a few months ago and it was just ok, a lot of things weren't available (no sausage rolls and hardly any cakes) and so I had to resort to quiche and salad, which was just ok, the quiche was a bit burnt.

I'd hoped to have lunch there yesterday, but it was crowded and although tables came free they were filthy and staff were very slow to clear them so I didn't feel like taking a table. Once again, many food choices on the counter unavailable - no sausage rolls, very few quiches, hardly any cakes. The choice of sandwiches is limited on the menu too.

Try Fat Gherkin across the road, much nicer, fab brunch, lots of choice... and they'll have in stock whatever you...
