This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Where do I even begin? The service was extremely poor. The restaurant was very busy, and unfortunately, we were seated right next to the bar. This meant it was not only incredibly loud, but there was also constant foot traffic with people bumping into us. When we asked for a quieter table, we were told there were none available, which was understandable. However, the service that followed was unacceptable.

It took an unreasonably long time for anyone to come over to us then it was a considerable wait between ordering our drinks then them finally arriving. The delay in taking and serving our food order was just as bad, if not worse. And when the food finally arrived, it was a complete letdown.

The pasta dish I ordered was inedible. I had requested garlic bread with the meal and was instead served wheaten bread with garlic butter, which was odd, to say the least, it was clearly left over wheaten bread from the soup which. But the worst part was the pasta itself—it was so overcooked that the texture was just awful. When the server eventually came to clear our plates, I mentioned that I hadn’t eaten the pasta because it was terrible. They offered to take it off the bill but only removed 50%, which, in my opinion, was inadequate given that the dish was completely untouched.

We settled the rest of the bill and left, but this will definitely be our last visit to The Stillhouse. From start to finish, the entire experience was dreadful. I would not recommend this...

Updated review I had previously left a 5* review for this place. But we returned today and had what probably one of the worst experiences in a restaurant we've had in years!!

We ordered our food and waited, and waited, and waited.. after 40mins I called the waitress and asked what was happening, she said it was because my wife's steak has to rest, it takes 5mins to cook a steak and 10mins to rest! By this time people who had arrived AFTER us had finished and were getting their bills!

After a further 10mins our food began to arrive, first my son's, a few mins later mine, (which was cold), and a full 5mins later my wife's steak arrived. The steak had been ordered "medium well' meaning still a little pink, this streak was burnt and dry, it was over done even for a well done steak! It was served with the wrong side and there was a skin on the pepper sauce. And bear in mind this was now nearly an hour after ordering.

At this point we'd had enough, we asked for the bill to cover the drinks and my son's food (he had been so hungry that he had started eating) and left. On talking to the manager when paying the bill he said that he had saw the steak coming out of the kitchen and taken it back as it was clearly over done, but the chef "insisted it be served"!! That amount of arrogance simply adds insult to being injury

We have eaten here a number of times and recommended it to others. But now we will not be back and will urge...

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. My wife and two friends called in. For a meal. When the waitress came over to get our orders. I spicifically informed her I was celiac. My food has to be gluten free. She said no problem. I ordered the steak @£23. Along with chips. She came back and said the chips aren't gluten free. So I said ok mash will do. My food needs to be gluten free. Even though when we rang they said they do cater for gluten free. I said to my wife i hope they don't bring my steak out with an onion ring on it. So my wife went to the waitress and told her make sure there is no onion ring on my steak. Having said that. We sat waiting for 45 minutes on our meal. When it came out there was a battered onion ring on top of the steak. I simply couldn't believe what I seen. I didn't cause a scene or shout or anything. I just told her to take it away. They came back with another steak 30 seconds later. They told me it was free. I still didn't accept their offer of a free meal. How could they give me another steak 30 seconds later when we had sat for 45 minutes waiting . I went there absolutely starving I completely lost my apatite when I seen my meal. So I'll never be back in this restaurant. How could they get an order so wrong after being told 3...

Travelling with a work colleague and looked at the menu for The Four Trees Moira and it looked like it had a nice atmosphere inside, as well as a nice menu. We both went for the burger and fries, with a side of sauces and beer battered onion rings. The burger was dripping with lovely juicy Irish beef and the fries were cooked to perfection. The onion rings were a little greasy (the bowl they came in had a small pool of oil at the bottom) but were exceptionally tasty. The staff members were very kind, polite and welcoming and thankful that we cleaned up our glasses after ourselves. If you're looking for a nice bite to eat, nice vibes, nice staff members, this is the place to come.

The Still House Moria offers a delightful dining experience, combining delicious food with good service. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a relaxed meal. The food was delicious each dish is thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and flavors that truly satisfy. The service was excellent . The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we felt well taken care of without being intrusive. Overall, The Still House Moria is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended!
