Green Chilli — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

On Saturday 29th July, I ordered online for home delivery from this very popular local restaurant. Ninety minutes later only two of our three meals arrived, and they were cool. When I enquired about the missing meal I was given an apology and told it had mistakenly been forgotten to be packed with the others and would be delivered in 10 minutes.

Twenty five minutes later it still hadn't arrived and the new excuse was that the driver was busy but almost there. A further 10 minutes and my enquiry revealed the truth; the meal hadn't even ben prepared initially and it was clearly not on the way.

I had to end up fetching it myself. By this time our planned family meal time was delayed by 2 hours and the two meals that had been delivered had to be extensively reheated, thus reducing their quality. The food, despite this, was tasty but the experience of home delivery from this restaurant was abysmal. And barely an apology....

Ordered through Bangor eats, no issue with ordering etc. Order was placed to arrive 7:40-8pm. I arrived home at 7pm and the driver was already at the house with the food. I sent him back as I had to get my son to bed. I called the restaurant who couldn’t understand the issue with the food arriving early. Eventually got put on to a manager who agreed to resend for the correct time. I asked can it be made fresh and he agreed. Food arrived at 8pm barely luke warm. Curry had cooked so much it was a thick gloop. Manager blamed this on the restaurant being very busy. Crazy poor service and not my first experience of this from the...

Mmm... We ordered and paid £30 on their website, waited 15 mins, then when we got there to collect, they had no knowledge of our order - until they put a loose cable back into the computer! Joke. Order finally appeared after another 20 min wait... But at least we got a compensatory can of Coke while we waited😆 And to compound matters, there was no pilau rice (as requested) with the order. The butter chicken (£10) was lovely, garlic naan heated tasted like plain naan, mixed tandoori starter was very oily. Sorry but won't...
