The first time visiting any place for a meal can be daunting, not knowing what the foods like, are the staff friendly and helpful and what the atmosphere is like can be worrying, but Kook ticks all the boxes, amazingly relaxed atmosphere the staff are amazing and attentive without hovering over you or intruding and the food, my god it's bloody amazing, my wife and I had the 7 course taster menu tonight and it was sublime, the best meal we have ever had, and I got a selfie...

Not fussed. Very expensive for what you get. Small fry and one slimmers breakfast cost £17, same price as 2 x unlimited brekkies in the Premier Inn. Quality was so so, coffee was so so, server was the saving grace, but still didn't redeem the place. Had lunch today at Kook. It was fabulous. Food was delicious, great value and the place was absolutely spotless and freshly decorated. The staff were really inviting and engaging..... I noticed a customer eating alone who had a disability and the staff supported him so well and with such respect, even assisting discretely cutting the gentleman's food up. The manager was so helpful and had a great sense of humour. Highly recommend. We will be visiting again very...
