We popped in after a day out in the hope we could get a table without booking. As it was a bit earlier than a 'normal tea time' we were seated with no problem; I don't know what it would've been like if we turned up at 7pm.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in, given menus and time to have a quick look before a waiter came over to take our drink order; the drinks arrived promptly. Enough time was left for us to choose from the extensive choices, my husband always has a few questions regarding ingredients and the waiter was knowledgeable enough to reassure him the chef would be mindful. My husband had a Vindaloo and I had a Vegetable Korma.

The food arrived in good time, hot, and smelling divine, and placed on a heated server.

The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful, I couldn't eat all of mine, but I didn't want it to go to waste, so I asked to take it home. The waitress took it and returned it in takeaway containers, and I certainly enjoyed it for lunch the next day!

The serving staff were attentive without being intrusive.

We will definitely be returning, even though it's a good 30/40 minutes from...

Embarking on a delightful culinary journey in Carrickfergus, I found myself at Little India—a hidden gem boasting an array of enticing dishes. I kicked off my gastronomic adventure with the Delicious Duck Spring Rolls, a crispy delight that unfolded into an explosion of savoury goodness with each bite.

Following this mouth-watering starter, I delved into the Aromatic Lamb Biryani—a true masterpiece of flavour and fragrance. The tender lamb, perfectly seasoned with aromatic spices, mingled with fragrant basmati rice to create a symphony of tastes that lingered on the palate.

The atmosphere at Little India was as inviting as the cuisine, with warm lighting and the subtle aroma of spices in the air. It was a culinary escapade that transformed a simple meal into a memorable experience, leaving me eager to explore more of the hidden culinary treasures in...

Absolutely amazing experience all around! Went out for dinner with my family and we all had a wonderful time. The staff are all so attentive and friendly, ensuring we enjoyed ourselves to the greatest potential. I had the Chicken Rogan Josh and absolutely loved it - the only issue I had was that I couldn't possibly eat any more as the portions were so plentiful, but the staff were kind enough to bag our leftovers for later - my eyes were bigger than my belly in this instance! My brother had the Chicken Bhuna and Mum had the Chicken Korma, and we all agreed we'd absolutely come back as the food was divine!

A special mention goes out to staff member Samantha who went above and beyond for us in her customer service - she is an absolute credit to Little India Carrickfergus!

We can't wait to come...

Wow what a great find my only disappointment was I could not finish my meal. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant it bright and well decorated with enough space for social distancing the staff all wear face coverings. We had the biryani it was yummy flavourful plenty of meat the accompanied veg curry was wonderful too. Very rare do you get a good coffee in Indian places but I was blown away my espresso was gorgeous. The facilities are clean and the whole experience was delightful. Would highly recommend but make sure you book.

Yet another fabulous Indian food restaurant and we were quite impressed with the quality and taste of each items that we tried there. The interior is excellent and well decorated. I had lamb biriyani which was quite different to what is normally served in and around Belfast. I would also like to recommend Tarka Daal which was as authentic as it can get. Starter portions were little less in quantity but that is not a complaint. There are ample free parking slots available and it won't an issue generally. We would definitely recommend this. 😊
