Visited 07/01/2023, eldest had made reservation and when arrived table was ready with pre requested high chair for granddaughter, excellent start.

Drinks order taken, I would say out of the Lassi yoghurt drinks that the Mango 🥭 is the one to go for, they do it by the glass (no jug option as is done elsewhere so as to share/try).

We were offered Poppadoms to start, very nice way to start the meal off. They were out of stock of the popular chicken samosas so the mixed grill starter came with vegetable samosas, which were ok. The chicken pakoras were quickly gone and were well received.

When it came to the mains for those who know me know I do rate a place based in its Keema Aloo Matar dish, this wasn’t on the menu but a quick ask and this was easily catered for and done with no fuss, absolute class service and execution of the dish too 👍🏽 the naans both garlic and the Keema versions were tasty, the portions of the dishes are very healthy including the mix grill tandoori main, instead of naan ordered some chips to go with and they were also tasty.

Would highly recommend making a visit to the Kohinoor, I’d say this beats the Jharna on Lisburn Road and will be a go to for the future. The place was very busy and the team looked after everyone who was in, including those coming in to pick up phone orders or coming in to order to take...

As a family, we had a wonderful experience at Kohinoor Indian Cuisine in Lisburn. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the friendly staff, who made us feel right at home.

The menu offered an extensive selection of Indian dishes, and our family of varying tastes and dietary restrictions was well catered for. The food was exceptional and incredibly fresh and vibrant. From flavourful curries and succulent tandoori meats, every dish was freshly prepared and bursting with authentic Indian flavours.

The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable.

We would highly recommend Kohinoor Indian Cuisine for a family meal or any occasion. The delicious food, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable experience for us. We look forward to...

Look no further if you love traditional Indian cuisine. The culinary experience offered by this family run, small restaurant is second to none. To begin with, you will find a warm welcome at the door by any of the well-mannered waiters, who will guide you through the menu. Punctual but not invasive, the service at the table is professional and knowledgeable. Nonetheless, the kitchen staff does a great job at delivering fresh and tasty food, never too spicy or too bland. I think this is very close to what a traditional restaurant in India would offer, and the quality is by far superior than any other Indian restaurants we tried before. We are now going back regularly, and would strongly recommend this lovely place to anyone. Make sure you try a pint of Cobra, accompanied by the...

This is our second time in Kohinoor, both time the food was amazing and service very friendly. This is the first Indian restaurant I’ve been in where they can happily make any dish mild or hot, and anything in between. Both times I tried dishes I have never tried before - as they made it mild for me. This time I had the sweet and sour chicken which was absolutely delicious! We are looking forward to coming back and try new dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant - fantastic food, lovely service, and great atmosphere.

Really tasty! Don’t understand how it isn’t busier. We had the sharing platter and poppadoms for starter, which was a great way to try several starters. I had the chicken tika masala with peshwari naan. The sauce and naan is so good I could just eat this on it’s own. Other big hits at the table were the lamb tandoori with curry sauce (spicy but so good), the butter chicken and the bhuna. Staff are all very pleasant and attentive. Restaurant nice and modern and clean. Will be back!
