I had gone to Mama Masala after hearing a lot from friends. And it didn't disappoint. The best thing about the place is the service and friendliness of the staff. I had ordered the Chilli squid starter and the tandoori king prawns. The chilli squid hot the spot perfectly. An absolute delight to eat the dish. To be honest I would have gone for one more portion of the squid if I hadn't ordered mains. My wife ordered the chicken 65 starter and butter chicken with Garlic naan. Both were very good. We ordered a side of Dal Makhani as well. You can ask the chef to customize your dish to the level of spiciness that suits you. One more thing - the ice-cream. I am used to getting cheap ice-cream for dessert at restaurants. But I must say I was pleasantly delighted to get a decent vanilla ice cream. Definitely will be returning.

Just left here from having a meal and honestly I am appealed at the portion sizes! £17.95 for a curry with 6 small pieces of lamb in it! A portion of chips costs £3 that wouldn’t even have been enough to feed a child! Place was empty Upon arrival which probably explains it! Food was nice but not for the price we just paid! We have left still hungry and having to find something else to eat! £7 for 4 chicken wings!! We literally got handed a bowl of curry which you can see from the photos £40 for this amount of food is scandalous

We went to this place on my wife's birthday and the restaurant didn't disappoint at all. Thanks to it being a weekday with close to subzero temperature outside and snowing, we had almost the entire restaurant for us! The hosts are friendly, warm which makes you feel comfortable. We had garlic prawns, chicken 65, chicken garlic chilli masala, cheese naan and mama masala naan. Each one of these food items were really good and we really enjoyed our visit there. We definitely would recommend this place to others.

The service at Mama Masala Glengormley was flawless from the time we arrived. The staff were kind, helpful, and well informed about the food. They made excellent suggestions and made sure the entire dinner was flawless. They made us feel very comfortable and were always attentive and available without being intrusive. The Red Dawn and Gin Slushie cocktails were both fantastic and well-made. We also tried Thums Up, an Indian cola that added an interesting touch to our meal. All the starters we tried were delicious! The Chilli Squid was delightfully crispy and tender, the Mama Masala Wings were exploding with flavour and undoubtedly some of the finest we've ever eaten, and the Chicken 65 had the ideal balance of spice and flavour. The main course was by far the highlight of the evening. The Paneer Butter Masala was creamy and delectable, the Chicken Tikka Garlic Chilli Masala was rich and flavourful with just the right amount of heat (made medium instead of hot, for us), and the Methi Lamb was so tender it melted in your mouth. We paired these with onion rice and the Mama Masala Naan and Garlic Naan. We finished with Mango Kulfi and Pistachio Kulfi, which were both the sweetest way to end a delicious and hearty dinner.

All in all, our entire experience was excellent, from the delicious cuisine to the attentive service. Mama Masala Glengormley is the place to go if you're searching for a restaurant that serves fantastic food and has great service too!

Been here multiple times for takeaway and sit in as well. Can't fault the place. Simply delicious food, attentive staff and overall an enjoyable meal every time. Highly...

Had the pleasure of experiencing this place, but it was the takeaway that I had. The son had got one the previous week, and called to the house. And having enjoyed that meal, chicken tikka masala, decided to have another one this week, Saturday evening. And I have to say, it was just as delicious. The chicken was really tender, and nice portions, as well as the sauce, absolutely delicious. The rice was perfect, paliu rice, as well as a plain naan. It came with a papodom, but unfortunately no dip, but when I asked for one , it was really tasty, the onion dip. Over all it was a really enjoyable dinning experience, and the food is prepared to restaurant level , which will entice me to dine in the restaurant in the future. A really pleasant place by, and easy to order and collect, the staff are really friendly and excellent. But you'll need to taste for yourself, and enjoy.

Just had another beautiful meal from this place, chicken madras, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka korma, paliu rice, chips, one plain naan, one peshwari naan. Looked after by Diksha, lovely person, really friendly, all the staff are very friendly. The meals once again, fantastic, really good portions, tender chicken, sauces really tasty. Onion dip really good 👍, another satisfying experience. Sorry no photos, as it was devoured really quickly, but next time, will...

I was visiting the area and ate twice at this restaurant within a few days’ time. I’m a vegetarian but others in my party aren’t. The vegetarian selection was nice and really tasty. We tried the Indian food and the pizza and both were really good. My parents are from India, so I know good Indian food when I taste it!

I really liked the level of spice, it was perfect. Not too spicy but just enough kick. We got spice level 2 (medium). My faves were the garlic mushroom puris and the methi mattar (not on the menu). Also some veg dishes are outside of the veg mains section, so just ask if you want to know what’s vegetarian.

I have to mention this too: After talking with Charlene, I found out that they are really conscious about minimizing food waste at the restaurant as much as possible. They buy small batches of fresh meat and produce to ensure they don’t have to throw out unused food.

That was SO REFRESHING to hear!!! Normally restaurants have a LOT of food waste. I’m very eco-conscious so it made me feel good that by supporting this local business, I’m also supporting people who are trying hard to minimize food waste.

Lovely staff and service as well. If you haven’t already, come try out Mama Masala! You...
