A true Irish experience in every sense of the word
I walked in with my daughters during our country wide tour & immediately we were greeted with hello’s & welcome’s not only from the bartender Aemon, but from the 5 patrons on the bar..
After 6 hours i had been invited to someone’s house for dinner, 3 people worked on finding me an airbnb because the drive to Galway was too far & even had offers to stay in people’s houses! (Ps.. we stayed 3 doors away at an airbnb owned by one of their friends)
Meeting all of these people and having conversations about everything from politics to food and everything in between!
A true Irish pub is all about the people, the craic & the pints.. this place exceeding every expectation that i had for a corner pub!

Read moreTravelled to Derry after the Accies v Coleraine game. Friends had recommended Mary B's and we weren't disappointed. We'd had a few drinks on Waterloo Street but decided to head to Mary B's after the pubs there got too busy. Mary B's is a traditional Irish 'boozer' that sells a great pint of Guinness. The owner, Gerry, has some of the best patter I've heard. The regulars make you feel really welcome and the craic was brilliant. Will definitely be back if Accies ever play...
