Been a few times for the special discounts menu. Last night was £15.95 for a starter and mains. I got salt chilli prawns starter. Was nicely presented and tasty, if a little bit too spicy for me. For main I had sizzling duck Cantonese style with soft noodles as side. The duck was overdone and there was too much sauce which lacked a depth to it. Lots of fresh pineapple and veg. Soft noodles were the very thin type stirfried with a little veg. Presentation was as always excellent. Food was as best around Lisburn which lacks Chinese sit in places. Service was a disaster as it has been before. The lady taking order could not understand fully English and had to call a male young waiter. I told them bring soya sauce and after a wait the starter came minus siya sauce and was set down so quick I never got a chance to ask. After minutes I had to turn round and beckon them as they chatted for my sauce. Mains came reasonably quickly but after finishing no one came back. I again had to beckon a waitress to ask for an Irish coffee. She had no clue and after ten minutes the older waitress from Vietnam came said no cream. I said use squirty cream and told her how to make it. Ten more minutes and still no coffee again I beckoned and was told wait a little. So after 25 minutes the mature lady brought it but after a chat I discovered it was cold. I had to suggest microwave it a little. She did but it spoiled it and still was not hot. I suggested it should be free. But when I eventually got the bill it was near seven pounds. The overall service is hap hazard the owner had gone back to Malaysia and I can see this place closing like it's many previous names and owners. It has the potential to be really great but is badly run. I will go back but prepare for long delays if you attend. Food is well presented but could be better. I do recommend you...
Read moreIf you have a lot of patience and spare time, and you want to experience really nice food this is a place. Pros: varied menu, kids eat free, spacious design, bright interior. Cons: long wait time between starters and main course( we went with two kids aged 5 and 10 and it was torture), poor table service ( the waitress completely lost interest in our table after initial order, had to order additional stuff thru random waiters passing our table, no one was on duty to collect our empty bottles and glasses that where taking up space on our table). Almost an hour wait for our main course and 30min for starters. These are the main things. Word of advice: the main dishes do not contain sides which you have to order separately and add their cost to main dish. There are rice and noodle dishes which consists of main dish and side named in the type of dish. Was hoping for more from this establishment but am very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the toilets are nice and clean, the dining area is clean and bright but it's lacking that customer care. Probably will visit again in 6...
