Canaries Pizza & Kebab — Restaurant in Norwich

As someone who is a very regular customer it’s sad to say I’m giving a bad review. For the record most of the time the service is okay. On the 14th feb my wife ordered a takeaway for myself and her at 17:38. We sat and waited for around an hour and 10 minutes before calling. A lovely lady answered the phone and told us that for some reason we had been missed and that the order would arrive ASAP and said this would be around 10 minutes. 50 minutes and another phone call later the food finally arrived 2 hours after we ordered and was lukewarm. This particular delivery driver an older gentleman I’m sorry to say couldn’t find his way out of a paper bag. On many occasions I’ve watched him walking up and down the street for a few minutes and knocking on the wrong doors before working out where to go. This is also as you’re shouting and waving to get his attention and he is oblivious and miserable. The guy…. Due to our poor diet of probably canaries two or 3 times a week still hasn’t after a year or so worked out our address. And every time he delivers the food it’s cold or lukewarm. I’ve called up to tell them before and nothing happens. After waiting for 2 hours you would think that canaries would have perhaps thrown in a little freebie to apologise for the wait and mistake?…. No. Let’s put it this way my wife and I spent around £2000 in canaries last year minimum and this is how the value our custom? It’s perhaps time to find...

Don't order from these if your in NR8 they pick and choose if they want to deliver to you.

We have used these regularly and for a good while now never had any problems with delivery. Last night I ordered and they refused delivery even though it states they deliver to NR8. The manager basically said they were a few drivers short and weren't coming this far out they were only doing it locally. So even though they deliver to Nr8 as it states on the flyer (and you still pay a charge) they refuse to. The manager on the phone was very very rude and wasn't even bothered about what it said on the flyer and when i was explaining about how we have always ordered his response was 'its saturday,im busy love' Will not be ordering from them again which is a shame because some of the food...

It hurts me giving a 2 star review as I have been a loyal customer since my prom night 16 years ago. Let's face it, the best part about canaries pizzas is the sauce, and they are so stingy with it. The last few pizzas I have ordered have had f all sauce on the base, and the last two I have specifically asked for an extra saucy base, and on inspection I would say there isn't even enough for a single serving of sauce and been given what I would describe as cheese on toast. I don't even think my request was taken seriously. Very disappointed. Will be looking to go else where from...
