Terrible Review for Cafe Owner I recently had a rather embarrassing and humiliating experience at a local cafĆ© that I feel compelled to share. Upon visiting, I was met with a rude and aggressive interaction from the cafĆ© owner, which left me and my friend quite taken aback. Instead of the warm welcome you’d expect from a small business, we were greeted with an intimidating attitude that made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable.

Things took a turn when we were accused of bankrupting the small business simply for ordering a couple of coffees and not food on this occasion. It was shocking to be confronted in such an intimidating manner. We had just come in for a bit of a treat, a coffee and a catch up with a friend, not to be made to feel unwelcome or intimidated. The owner’s behaviour was not just unpleasant but frankly unacceptable, leaving us feeling quite humiliated and unwelcome. It concluded with him shouting at us in front of all his customers and on the street outside afterwards!

If you’re considering popping in for a visit, I’d strongly advise against it. No one should have to endure such a negative experience when simply trying to enjoy a coffee. Don’t go! It’s truly a shame, as local cafĆ©s should be places of comfort, not confrontation.

I would add that the staff were accommodating and friendly, but clearly mortified by the behaviour of the boss. Definitely not the first time they will have witnessed such rudeness to...

I was absolutely mortified to witness the way the cafƩ owner treated two customers during my visit. I have never seen such appalling customer service in any establishment.

The two customers had simply come in for a coffee and a catch-up, yet they were met with rudeness, aggression, and outright humiliation. The owner shockingly accused them of bankrupting the business just for ordering drinks instead of food. The situation escalated to the point where he was shouting at them in front of everyone—both inside the cafĆ© and even outside on the street!

The atmosphere was completely ruined, and other customers were visibly shocked by what was happening. It was incredibly uncomfortable to witness, and I felt awful for those on the receiving end of such hostility.

While the staff were clearly embarrassed and remained polite, it was obvious this wasn’t the first time they had seen such behaviour from their boss.

I, for one, will not be returning. A cafƩ should be a welcoming place, not one where customers are berated and humiliated. I strongly advise others to think twice...

Went here today for lunch on a whim as near where my daughter lives, absolutely amazing! The out of hours breakfast was scrumpy, they had 3 different sizes, and the tomatoes you could add on as extra for free were delicious, reminded us all of the tomatoes we've eaten in rome. The black pudding and white pudding were the best we have tasted, the staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome. Don't even get me started on the deserts!! Absolutely delicious. We were told they are going to start opening in the evening for curry nights, and Sunday roasts, will definitely be going back, you can even have a cheeky pint! Result , it's one of those places that is a hidden gem , thankyou so much for a lovely atmosphere and delicious high quality food, wishing you...

Fist of, the food was delicious. We went on my bf birthday for a nice breakfast meal and he had the ultimate breakfast and I had the veggie omelette. The ultimate breakfast is huge and the mushrooms were absolutely delicious. It’s great value and just overall a great atmosphere. The service was amazing! Very attentive and as I’m heavily lactos intolerant very accommodating. The manager, Julien, is the friendliest person we met in Norwich. He was not only very helpful but also just lovely to chat to. And we were very grateful for his help, with getting us to our next destination! We will definitely come back next time in Norwich!

we often come here for food & coffee and it’s always incredible! the food is so good and there’s lots of choice, they even make things off menu so long as they have the ingredients! they even catered really well for my auntie who had dietary restrictions and always made sure her food was prepared accordingly. drinks are also lovely, in my opinion one of the best coffees I’ve had, and the smoothies are lush! the owner & staff are so welcoming and friendly too, there is nothing not to love about out of the blue cafe! there is also indoor and outdoor seating available, and the cafe is dog friendly! 100% recommend ā˜ŗļø

What a splendid cafe. Exceptionally personable and friendly staff. Really good, honest, homely food. This was the perfect tonic after the mighty Coventry City (tongue firmly in cheek) had just been mugged in stoppage time by the Canaries, the afternoon before. The quirky touches, interesting art and the fact that there was a small bar with several handpumps of ale only added to the overall experience. We loved it! and know exactly where to go for brekkie, next time we're in Norwich!!
