What an absolute gem of a place! If you’re in Norwich and looking for a proper pub experience, this is the spot. I often bring mates here when they visit from afar, and I'm never disappointed. It's relatively recently been given a makeover, which has been done well to maintain its history/charm but has also given it some modern necessities. Alongside a really active social calendar, including a weekly quiz and regular live music, there's good food deals and free darts and pool! What's not to like about this lovely little pub set in a residential area of NR3. Great atmosphere live music weekly plus competitive prices for drinks with a nice selection of local beers, wines, and spirits. I also recently ate a sunday roast here and have to say it tasted amazing the food was delicious and presented well. Great service from the staff who served me my meal.
