I genuinely don't know how they make money... The food is good, hot, cooked fresh (open kitchen so you can watch them cooking it) tasty and almost questionably cheap... Couldn't fault the food, quality breakfast, coffee was good, toast was crispy and hot, no wait despite it being pretty busy, a lot of take away orders too, the 2 ladies were super friendly and nice. I can't fault the place, it's a cafe, what it sells, it does well and you really cannot ask for any more than that. Had they charged me a fiver more for the breakfast I had I wouldn't have batted an eyelid! Incredible value, will definitely be going back. Parking a bit of an adventure due to some side street tickets holder restrictions, but there is some parking if you look about, and...

I don’t know where to start with Sunny Side Up, the food, the staff or the great atmosphere.

This cafe is hands down the king of breakfasts in Norwich, there food is always cooked perfectly, they cater for any dietary requirement and nothing is to much effort.

The staff are lovely, always cheerful and are dedicated to providing the best service possible!

The atmosphere is exactly what it should be, a classic English breakfast cafe. The price is very fair, and really pennies in comparison to the good food, friendly staff and general ambiance of this little cafe.

They also do takeouts if you’re running late which are just as well cooked! I would definitely recommend checking...

Been a while since my last trip to Sunny Side Up so I thought it was about time I visited again Had the vegan breakfast with vegan toast and a black coffee, despite the cafe being busy I was seen to and served very quickly. Really enjoyed the breakfast and at a total cost of £6 was great value. Sauces were in proper bottles too which is a huge plus over sachets! All in all very much enjoyed my visit to this old shool cafe, will visit again soon Ps was cash only on the day I visited but there's a free to use cashpoint at the Co Op a 30 seconds...
