Great, slightly out the way little pub with local but cosy atmospheric feel. Impressed that the Christmas tree is up by mid November 😂 Four real ales and a good selection of lagers together with traditional bread rolls, flapjacks and packets of Haribo starmix They were playing darts on the night I visited.

I love this pub, tucked away down a little alley just off the market area. Always friendly staff and some real characters, as in customers. Full of character and a must whenever I am in Norwich. Love the seagulls opposite 👍

I went here about 5pm on Friday just for a couple or so pints... after collecting my own glasses! It is v. pleasant, friendly and traditional yet a modern yet American type 'themed' pub with duke box, someone had put on an excellent arrangement of music from the 70's -to 90's. Lucky us in the pub!! I checked the 'live'music on at Easter.. looks promising... Jazz Sat..night, The Dust Bowl Then 1stApril Roy &Mick doing Norfolk Folk Music! So there you have it...

Was there for a few pints with a friend of mine while visiting the city. Drink price is great, place is well kept and as clean as pub can be, staff are lovely and the crowd that this place attracts is really lovely for a traveller dropping by for a few pints.

We ended up chatting to a lot of lovely people and really have felt at home. Really positive and welcoming athmosphere and we really enjoyed their live music on the night :)

Had a very nice drink on the way into the city, I always love the out of the way, down a narrow alley dangerousness that you know your gran wouldn't approve. A proper spit and sawdust pub with live music at the weekend (rock to heavy rock to light gravel). The guest ale is always a must and once again Trooper was on so I had to get a pint. Always worth a visit this pub if only to have a pint and people watch, if you're into your music then you'll...
