POV - visiting Nottingham’s BRAND NEW Turkish restaurant @Anatolian Palace Nottingham I bloody love Turkish food, but this place isn’t just grilled meats and pita’s (although that’s exactly what I ordered 😆) They have a huge menu full of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes. If you can’t decide what you want to eat, the staff are more than happy to give their recommendations. In fact, they even encourage it, they have a whole set menu dedicated to “leaving it to us” which I love. The good stuff 🍴Complementary bread and dips Starters: 🍴Sigara Boregi 🍴Halloumu Mains: 🍴House special grill 🍴Lamb beyti Both dishes came with unlimited salad Desserts 🍴Baklava 🍴Vanilla milkshake We finished off our meal with some Turkish coffee, tea & Turkish delight. The food was all phenomenal, but the house special grill was a real stand out. It’s a big portion, but it isn’t overwhelming and it’s a great opportunity to try all of their delicious meats. The meat was tender and all cooked beautifully. I did have to share some with Micky though. You most definitely won’t go hungry if you eat here. Thanks so much to the entire Nottingham team for having us, and to @adamsapplemedia for organising. … *Invite #nottinghamfood #nottinghamrestaurant #turkishrestaurant #nottsfood

Absolutely loved my visit to Anatolian Palace, what a gem of a place! As a solo female traveller, I was looked after so well by the lovely team: Sedef, Burak, and another incredibly friendly waiter whose name I didn’t catch, but who made me feel completely welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. I was seated near the kitchen in an area the staff regularly passed and they stopped to chat. Nice touch! I started with a Turkish bread and sauces, then a classic prawn cocktail, which was fresh and full of flavour. The prawn cocktail had a little to much sauce for my liking, but that's personal preference. But the waiter noticed and offered to change it. I didn't change it as it was full of flavour and a nice start to the meal. Then came the grilled sea bass, beautifully cooked and served with a huge portion of salad, potatoes, and roasted veg. The baby sweetcorn was absolutely packed with flavour and cooked to perfection! The salad was huge and had so many different elements, perfect. I tried the Peach Fuzzy mocktail. It was sweet, refreshing, and very moreish. The staff also kindly brought me some traditional Turkish tea and Turkish apple tea to try, something I’d never ordered before, but now I feel like I’ve been missing out all my life. Both were bursting with flavour and such a lovely touch to end the meal. Finally two pieces of Turkish delight beautifully presented with the menu. A little boy has his birthday and a waiter went to him, dressed in traditional clothes and a fez, to sing happy birthday. How lovely is that. Nottingham, if you haven’t visited Anatolian Palace yet, what are you waiting for? The food is amazing, portions are huge, everything is fresh and full of flavour, the staff are full of fun and super friendly, the value is brilliant. This place deserves to be absolutely buzzing every night of the week. If I get to return to Nottingham, I’ll definitely be back! Sedef, thanks for the lovely chat. It was great talking to you.

Clean , bright & newly decorated with new furniture. Staff were friendly & welcoming . Menu is quiet big but easy to read & chose from Nice music giving the vibes you are on holiday !! Turkish bread was complementary We went around 4 pm , few people not very busy . We choose their set lunch offer £15.95 for 2 ( 1 starter & 1main ) we picked chicken cubes with chips , lamb cubes with chips , musaka with rice , lamb kebab also ordered the hot Mezza ( 2 falafel , 2Borak , 2 calamary , 2 slices of suguk , 2 slices of Hallomi) Staff were not trained enough & did not have the knowledge about celiac disease ( gluten ) apart from on of them who was aware & making sure that we don’t order something wrong such as chips were cooked in the same oil used for other food & plain rice was not gluten free cuz they add food stock that is not gf The food was super delicious , so tender & perfectly cooked but portions were tiny ( only 3 cubes of chicken cubes as a meal ) I fully understand the offer is very cheap for the delicious dishes but still very small meals Large free car park just outside the restaurant & seating outside is great option during summer

Anatolian Palace – Nottingham Showcase: A Flawless Feast of Flavour, Hospitality, and Value

Our recent visit to Anatolian Palace in Nottingham Showcase was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and beautifully designed interior – a perfect balance of contemporary elegance and traditional charm. Whether you're coming for a casual dinner or a special celebration, this place sets the perfect tone.

Service & Atmosphere: The service throughout our visit was truly top-notch – attentive without being overbearing, with staff who were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. There was a real sense of pride in the food they served, and that enthusiasm came through in every interaction. The overall atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with a spacious and stylish setting that made the experience feel both comfortable and special.

Starters – A Generous Beginning: Soon after being seated, we were offered all-you-can-eat freshly baked bread and salad, served with a selection of house-made sauces. This wasn’t just a small token – the bread was incredibly fresh, warm, and fluffy inside with just the right amount of crust on the outside. It paired beautifully with the sauces, especially the rich tomato and tangy yogurt-based ones. The salad, crisp and refreshing, was also all-you-can-eat and served generously with the mains – a thoughtful touch that added even more value to the meal.

Main Courses – An Explosion of Flavour: Then came the mains, and this is where Anatolian Palace truly shines. The chicken wings were the absolute highlight of the night – perfectly grilled, tender, and bursting with a smoky, savory flavor that made them completely addictive. Hands down, some of the best wings we’ve ever had. The chicken kofte was equally impressive – juicy, delicately spiced, and grilled to perfection. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite.

The spiral big prawns in a rich tomato sauce were a visual and culinary masterpiece. The prawns were large, succulent, and soaked up the rich, garlicky tomato sauce beautifully. This dish alone is worth coming back for – it was bold, hearty, and absolutely delicious.

Everything was thoughtfully accompanied by fluffy rice and golden, crispy chips, both of which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The balance of textures and flavors across the meal made it feel incredibly satisfying without being overly heavy.

Portions & Value: Portion sizes were generous – you will definitely leave full and happy. When you factor in the quality of the ingredients, the expert preparation, the unlimited bread and salad, and the outstanding service, Anatolian Palace offers phenomenal value for money. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every element hits the mark so precisely, especially at such fair prices.

Final Thoughts: We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Anatolian Palace – from the warm welcome to the final bite. It’s clear this is a place that takes great pride in what they serve and how they serve it. The attention to detail, the high-quality food, and the generous hospitality make it a standout destination in Nottingham.

If you’re looking for an authentic, flavour-packed meal with exceptional service and an atmosphere that feels both inviting and upscale, look no further. Anatolian Palace is a must-visit. We’re already looking forward to our next visit – and yes, we’ll be ordering those chicken wings and...

I was looking for a nice place to eat in Nottingham and this place caught my eye based off of the reviews.... Safe to say I was shocked to find out that what the reviews portray is not what the real experience is like...

I went with my wife as it was our anniversary and I wanted to treat her to a fantastic day out.

When we arrived the place was near enough empty, the staff were all on their phones and not paying attention to anyone.

We were seated relatively quickly but then were left waiting for over 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order...

We placed our order and the food came quickly atleast... almost a little too quickly I worried to myself as we ordered the chicken shish, after cutting into one piece I realised very quickly that the food was not cooked properly, once I realised this I called over the manager to let them know...

They said there was nothing I could do and if I wanted I could buy another one in the hopes that it was actually cooked properly...

The managers attitude was disgusting in this regard and so I took my wife's hand and left...

I was lured in by false reviews and paid the price dearly... Do not be fooled by these reviews as they have clearly been bought and...
