A cool pub that has good music and atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly and the crowd seemed nice. I appreciated the seating. I wouldn’t call the pints here cheap but there is a decent selection on tap. The downstairs area is really chill with lots of interesting decor. The upstairs space is nice and with better ventilation.

I rated the food low because it was practically inedible for me. I don’t particularly like spice but I can handle it and my partner loves spicy food. But it was too spicy for both of us. It was very disappointing considering the price range, it was not worth the money I paid for. The food ingredients were not clearly labelled and I believe it was all vegan, which could have been more clear. I have eaten bigger meals for cheaper at other pubs.

Overall a groovy vibe here but ultimately let down by a poor quality meal. Really sorry! But I definitely will be coming back for a pint and to hang...

Community driven pub, with a selection of locally brewed ales, and an independent vegan kitchen up top (open in the evenings). Staff are friendly, happy, and proud of where they work. Lots of artwork and thingamajigs on display, as well as posters for community events (some hosted there). It's a progressive space with a nice traditional pub aesthetic. There's a decent sized beer garden on the roof, and a pool table in one of the upstairs rooms. If you like to meet new folk or have a chat with a stranger, the people are usually very friendly and welcoming, and it's easy to mingle in the beer garden. It's a great venue for a lively friday or saturday night, especially with good weather, but can equally lend itself to a quiet lowkey pint at...

The King Billy (don't know what this King William IV nonsense is!) is a great pub, probably the best boozer in Nottingham. A real mix of people and a great range of beer. Lovely roof top beer garden too.

But this review is about the pizzas they've just started doing.

God, they're good. Chewy wholemeal sourdough bases, fresh mozzarella (made on site from local cows milk) and great toppings. Veggie and vegan options.

The best is the Napoli: anchovies, capers, mozzarella, parmigiano and San Marzano tomatoes - a savoury delight.

And the ever changing specials are always inventive.

First time visiting this pub after a recommendation and wow what an amazing pub, now my favourite pub in Nottingham. I love flat cider and they had 8 to choose from. Very friendly landlord, was made to feel very welcome. This pub has lots of different rooms and even a rooftop terrace area with its own Vegi Tex mex food kitchen. Its Dog friendly. They have music and comedy events. They have free fast wifi (64Mbps down/21Mbps up) I will definitely be visiting this pub again soon. I have added lots of 360 degree photos for Google Streetview. Look forward to returning to this pub again in the future.

A little outside the main city centre of Nottingham, so it always feels like going to a destination. Wide range of beers, lagers and ciders always available and well kept too. Mixture of locals, but newer faces seem to settle in nicely too! Sky Sports or equivalent often available on a Saturday, but kept at a moderate volume so you’re not yelling to your fellow drinkers. Best of all is the upstairs roof garden, which on a sunny day is a pleasure to be there.
