Absolutely horrible customer service, I dont normally write bad reviews but I just had to with this one due to the severely rude staff or manager im not sure who exactly but they were working today during the afternoon on 10/05/25, very rude man. I ordered a sundae, eat in specifically, and i made it clear because most of us go for pictures to post on our stories and all but i got the wrong order. I was given my sundae in a milkshake cup (take away) and I told the the owner (i think it was the owner) that he made a mistake and i wanted to eat in and preferred my sundae presented better like how they offered on the websites and not all squished into a sundae cup, part of the reason we go to the parlour is for the aesthetics not just to have ice cream, I can get ice cream at tescos. Anyways, as a daughter of a father who owns businesses too I really did not want to make him redo my order and waste what he made but what shocked me is the way the staff spoke to me and was telling me it was my fault for HIS mistake?? I was gobsmacked to say the least, he said 'you should have corrected me during the process of me making it' and i said how on earth would i know that it was my order you were making there were like 3 other customers in the store at the same time I thought it was one of theirs. I found it insane the way he rolled his eyes despite knowing he was the one who made the mistake him and the waiter it just felt so belittling like was it because i only spent 9 pounds so was that why my order wasnt taken seriously? My mum was there and she agreed that its best to let it be but just let him (the workers) know that they did mishear and gave us the order and to pay attention for next time but he just got angry and started arguing with my mum??? over a bloody sundae bro. it was ridiculous to the point another customer got up and said to the staff, 'if it is this difficult to just correct the order i can pay for another one and ill take this version' and right then the staff says 'alright but dont worry i wont make you pay' and thats when i literally felt insulted. So he got MY order wrong and then blamed ME without apologising (I didnt even ask for it to be corrected I just wanted him to acknowledge his mistake and thats all, I dont like wasting food I wouldnt have made him redo my order) I also didnt want it to affect their profit but when he told the man trying to resolve the issue that he didnt have to pay it made me realise that clearly money and product wasted wasnt any issue for the store but what he just didnt care for my order and blamed me for a mistake they made. I felt embarrassed, I was so excited the whole day that I skipped lunch so I can have the ice cream sundae on an empty stomach but I didnt even get to, I couldnt control myself and just cried and left. This all happened over a grown man denying his mistake arguing with a girls mum over a sundae. This is just embarrassing, never been to a store with such grumpy and non empathetic staff. My father would get orders of pizza but then the customer would change their mind and prefer a burger and chips and he would do it instantly because he wants his customers happy and this man couldnt even correct an order he translated wrong himself and the proceeded to blame the customer too infront of everybody, utterly humiliating. If the owner reads this, I hope you know how you ruined someones day over a sundae and blaming someone for your...

One word Terrible! I would not have given any stars... but unfortunately thats not an option.

Firstly their menu is very over priced!! And that famous saying... "what you pay is what you get" well its not the case here..... because what you pay (a lot) is definatly not what you get!!

Everything was rationed and you have to pay extra for..... even the tiny blob of whipped cream they add to your plate..... which they forgot to add and we paid extra for this blob too! Also the cookie dough was very thin and only covered the very bottom of the dish... and was extremely dry (drier than gandi's flipflops)

Moving on to the utensils.... well these looked as though they had been stolen from a poor old lady's kitchen! Not to mentioned the rations of products too as we asked for sweetener to have with our tea... expecting this to be present to us in sachets..... but to our sunrise this also looked as though it was solten from the same poor old lady's kitchen as there was only 1 so we had to share with another customer (is was the click tiny sweeter tablets you can buy from asda).

The final and most of all upsetting experience was my husband being the nobal man that he is... paid for our bill before it arrived and it was his birthday! He paid who I believe was the owner of the business..... who then later sent one of his staff members (as was too embrassed himself to apologise) to collect from us an extra £1 as he didn't add the bill up correctly. Surely this was his error and so could have honored this £1 since we did spend just under £50! We still paid the £1 ... but never felt valued as a customer due to the lack of onership from the owner himself. There were also a number of flys in the parlour too! Avoid at...

I recently visited an ice cream parlour yumi in Nottingham and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and family-friendly, making it a great spot for both kids and adults. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that everyone felt welcome and well taken care of. Highlights: • The ice cream selection was impressive, with a wide variety of unique and colourful flavours such as Vimto, Pan Masala, Red Velvet, Rose, Unicorn, and more. There was something for everyone, from classic vanilla to more adventurous options. • Presentation was top-notch. Milkshakes were beautifully served in tall glasses, topped with generous swirls of whipped cream and a fun striped straw. Each serving came on a wooden board with decorative writing and a fresh strawberry, adding a special touch to the experience. • The parlour itself was clean and modern, with a lively counter area displaying all the delicious options. The décor and layout made it easy to browse and choose your favourite treat. • The service was quick, and the staff were happy to answer questions about the different flavours and make recommendations. Overall Impression: This ice cream parlour stands out for its creative flavours, beautiful presentation, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot to treat yourself or enjoy a dessert outing with family and friends. Highly recommended for anyone in Nottingham looking for a memorable and delicious...

I bought a large cafe latte with Belgian chocolate and it was hot and is always my favorite they use Notts City Homebrand 200 I have also tried the chocolate ice cream and had the chocolate fudge which is fantastic I love it I sometimes buy the chocolate spoon cake with Belgian chocolate sauce I have to admit this is the best tasting cake I have tried in this area it is very good I paid five pounds for the cake I would say it is worth it for once a week it is a nice place to sit especially in summer the staff are very nice and down to earth their service for customers is very high in my opinion I have not found anything wrong it is a small business it is very chill and deep in the south asian communities in Nottingham so very cultural diversity it is a gem.

I've been coming here since they opened, which i did not realise until recently, it was 14 years ago! They deserve the success they have had and hopefully it continues. Still the best dessert shop in notts; big variety of desserts, cakes, and milkshakes with realistic pricing. Food options also. Shop decor and music is good. the place is always looking super clean/immaculate. The staff here inc the 2 managers are exceptional, really do give a 5* star service and make you feel valued. If you're looking for a dessert shop which is excellent value for money with amazing quality in their products but not crazily overpriced like all the other dessert shops in Nottingham, this place is the one 🙂
