Greggs — Restaurant in Oadby and Wigston

Have had to set the service as 3*, there are several excellent staff members and several not-so-stellar staff members, so your service could be fast, efficient service with a smile, 5 stars for sure, or... you could have 3 staff memebers dissappear to the back and leave the youngest and newest staff member to be overwhelmed by a queue lf 14 people (actual experience I have had personally and an instant 0 stars), you could have a staff member pay attention and let younpick out the pastry that is cooked closest to your liking, or have a staff member blantantly ignore your request for the perfectly cooked pie at the front and instead give you which ever one is most convenient to them, also sad to say that one staff member has over-loaded the cream on my latte to the point that the lid has exploded off the top and created a huge mess within mere moments of my picking it up, an issue I haven't had with any other staff members.

To potential customers reading this review, i recommend you pay close attention to the service each staff member gives and remember them, pick the right day and this branch is great, pick the wrong day you could be waiting a long time for reluctant and...

By far and away the worst Greggs in Leicestershire, even worse than their Burbage, Hinckley branch. Staff attitude is shocking and the food isn't anywhere near the basic standards required. I work all over the UK and would think I've been in well over 200 stores everyday for the last 15 years spending around £30k + in the process and know far more about Greggs customer service and food quality than 99% of their staff..

Greggs will not see out this current decade unless this very obvious drop in standards isn't rectified..

I have been here twice for the vegan sausage roll and vegan steak bake. The staff here are only concerned with clearing the queue so they can have a natter in the shop. They have no concern if the food is hot or cold. When asked is it hot on both occasions was told yes but like warm to cold is more what I was served. It's a shame really you have finally started releasing items which I can consume and when served hot it is delicious, but due to the staff that run your branch I don't think I would recommend anyone to eat here based on sheer laziness And bring...
