First time visiting today after reading lots of positive reviews so we just had to try this place out. On residential street parking, we found a spot no problem but I would imagine it could become tricky the busier this place got. Pleasant and warm welcome and seated immediately. I have a feeling you’re better off booking as I feel it could get really busy. Beautiful interior, no expense spared. Varied menu We had 2 lattes…WOW !!! We have drank a lot of lattes in the uk and around the world and have to say, this Latte was the best we have EVER tried !! Absolutely delicious, excellent quality with gorgeous presentation to go with it. We ordered the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and bacon on sourdough. Again…wow !! Excellent quality, beautiful presentation, very very tasty and delicious. It cost around £23 for everything BUT, it was worth every penny. We will definitely return and we highly recommend Bru’d Awakenin’s. 5/5.

We love finding hidden gems and Bru’d Awakenin is another. Having popped in for a little brunch the other day, we were thoroughly impressed - impressed enough that we’ll be making another trip soon, especially for the pancakes! The American Style Pancake Stack with Choc Nut & Fresh Fruit [£6.50] was absolutely delicious, with ample amount of fruit & chocolate stacked in each layer The Mediterranean Toasted Sandwich [£6.95] & the Mocha [£3] were good too, but the pancakes won the day

I am quite the cappuccino connoisseur and I have to say the cappuccino I had today was hands down the best I have ever had. That includes the many I have had in Italy too. The perfect cappuccino should be able to support a spoon laying on the top foam, this one knocked that test out of the park. 10 out of 10.

If I could eat here on a daily basis I probably would.

As a mum to a toddler it’s very hard to find anywhere you feel comfortable eating out with them, no matter how well behaved. We’ve always been made to feel comfortable here.

Nothing is too much in terms of slight adjustments when ordering.

As a family we have a fair few dietary requirements so we always book in advance and let them know and they’ve never failed to meet these needs with the same high standard.

Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of food and service and the lovely atmosphere.

Will always be our go to choice for brunch and even for...

Sorry, I don't usually post negative reviews but we had our first and last visit earlier today...coffee really nice..but expensive...we waited nearly 20 minutes for some toast..?? Sourdough is never our first choice but I have to say it was so salty that it was almost inedible...as for the price almost £13 for two coffees and toast...!! Please remember we are in Royton not in the Northern Quarter in Manchester...as a couple we have visited most of the coffee shops in the North West but unfortunately we were so...
