Aleppo's Falafel — Restaurant in Oxford

Note to others who might miss things like I did: this lovely place is cash only! I was there yesterday and the gentleman running it was so patient with me when I had ordered before I realized. I hadn’t had falafel as a wrap before so I went in on a whim not even having checked reviews and it was as delicious! I just said yes to everything, including the bright pink pickled turnips. Glad I did as they added such a bright flavor to the wrap! For me, the chicken samosa had an edge of sweetness to the filling that wasn’t to my personal taste but I think another person might find it delightful. A very generous meal...

Fantastic wraps! Usually a cue though, which means the food must be good right, but the wait can be quite long and there's only a narrow space, be prepared to know what you want, as you'll be asked before you've time to think and then you'll need to call back to them while your in the cue. Honestly the wraps are superb and the prices are ok but they don't take cards I often wonder if people are money laundering when they don't take cards these days, even little market stores often do cards now, maybe its a tax thing or maybe it's those pesky rental charges, that is sometimes very annoying. Be warned, it’s cash only ! £3.20 for the most basic falafel wrap (salad, hummus and falafel). 3x falafel per wrap, with fresh salad and tahini added (one more falafel would have been ideal). Absolutely essential to get the chilli sauce, it elevates the wrap to something memorable and that we want to replicate, secret sauce recipe please?
