Only good reviews for this wonderful gem!!!! As somebody who grew up in Japan the taste of karaage was on point!!! The staff were so lovely!! and they helped us choose what to get :)! The van was very nice and was located in one of the pubs so was able to get their lovely food for dinner. The quantity was great! The rice was really japanese rice and it was good price as well. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back for it again :)!!!

They are there from 11:30am-2:00pm, but if you wait until after 1:15pm they may run out of some dishes. I tried the curry rice bowl with chicken and it was delicious. Rich, sweet Japanese curry poured over rice and karage chicken. Very satisfying on a cold, gray day in Oxford.

I’m Japanese has to be my favourite food place in all of Oxford. The karaage chicken is the best I have ever had, even better than the karaage chicken I have had in Japan. I am hard pressed to recommend just one thing from the menu since everything is cooked to perfection and a lot of love and care clearly goes into the food here. The staff are also always so friendly and welcoming. I can not recommend this...
