La Croissanterie Cafe — Restaurant in Oxford

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY RUDE. Today about 10.45am, I met my friends in this cafe. My friends were there already, and I just joined. We were talking for 15-20min, but suddenly the owner came and interrupted our conversation and asked, in very rude way, "will you order something or not?", so I thought he came to take order (rudely though). However it was not. He says "if you want something go there (point to the till) to order". This means he came to me to put pressure to order. It looked like he was gonna kicking me out if I do not order anything. So I went to till to order, but nobody was serving me!! He and a lady were doing something. I stood there for a while and ordered coffee and tart. After I have got my coffee and tart, after about 10 minutes, one of my friend needed to leave with her daughter. Again, suddenly the owner came and say (was not asking or polite) to use only one table because other customers should use tables and move me to another sit. HOWEVER, THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE SHOP WAS EMPTY. ONLY ONE ANOTHER TABLE WITH TWO OTHER PEOPLE WERE THERE. WHERE ARE THE CUSTOMERS WHO NEED TO USE THIS TABLE!? IT WAS SO HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, SO I JUST LEFT AFTERWARD. I am local living in Headington and I am not going to recommend this place to anybody and I am not taking...

i used to come to this baggette shop nearly everyday i sadly moved away for two years and when i came back it was the first place i went when i arrived, the customer service was really bad! a man who worked there pushed past me when i was waiting in the que and bumped into me, i am pregnant but not showing yet but he still should take more care while walking round the shop then i oder my food to find out they have run out of white bread and not getting anymore for the rest of the day and it was only 3.15!! she took no care into making my baggette they used to always butter the bread if it was a cheese bagggette and she didn't and when i did ask for butter she just moved the cheese and lettuse to the side and slapped the butter on and literally all i could taste was butter, really unhappy with this whole experience especially because i walked all the way there just...

Awful experience! We visited this café for a coffee and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we ordered, the staff were unwelcoming. We were asked where we planned to sit, followed by the comment, “Why not sit outside as inside will get busy?” despite the café being nearly empty, and it is November weather. We felt their negative attitude the whole time. One of the staff came to get our cups even why they were unfinished. Things became even more uncomfortable when a staff member came over to replace the chair I was sitting on with a metal outdoor chair, explaining that the chair I was sat on is needed for another table—despite there being no one waiting and plenty of available seating.
