Shisha SpotsShisha Spots
First upon entry we were greeted and taken to the lounge as we wanted food as well as a smoke. I asked for a recommendation wanted a bit of a hit but not overly strong… basically blonde with a touch of dark. I was quoted paan, frozen strawberry and kiwi. Now this is stepping outside the box bit where they have all the flavours in boxes to sniff before you order, I sniffed the kiwi from the dark leaf box and thought it’s fine let’s go for this. You can choose the type of pipe you want to smoke from the KM, Oduman and Wookah. I went with the Wookah and you also get a clay phunnel bowl with kaloud as standard. The shisha literally came out in under 5 minutes. Now the flavour itself was perfect, I’m not a paan person but this was mellow and perfect. The smoke was thick, clouds upon clouds it was doing the. The service was brilliant as you should already know we don’t have bate faces like most bloggers or ask for freebies therefore the treatment and service we recieve is as a normal customer would and it was spot on here. Lounge itself is nice and clean the decor is asthetically pleasing which is a change from its old days when it was known as a different lounge. Overall it was spot on and I’m happy to say Oxford now has a spot they can be proud of. Cash and cards accepted, parking was ok we found a spot opposite the lounge free after 6:30 and that’s the time we also luckily arrived but unsure if the lounge offers any parking. Definately worth a visit if you visit Oxford Check out more reviews on Instagram @shisha_spots

We came to this restaurant for the food because the photos on the internet looked really appetising. However, once we got there, the burger was nothing like it should have been (comparison based on photos). We were served a burger that tasted like a frozen burger, not to mention the waiting time, which was an hour (knowing that they were cold, so it wasn't the cooking that took time). To put it simply, there were eight of us and four of us ordered burgers, and by the time we received the burgers, the others had finished eating. The restaurant also has a shisha area, but the whole group is non-smoking, so we stayed in the dining area, but the door was open, so after a while we started to smell the smoke. I asked them if it was possible to close the door, but that must have been more complicated than making burgers because I had to get up three times to close it myself. And finally, the bill came to £156.06 in total, and we wanted to split it so that those who only had a small dish didn't have to pay for the others, but "it wasn't possible" and, worst of all, it wasn't even divided by 8 but by 6 (you really have to search to find any logic in that, if there is any). To conclude, you just need to replace "kitchen" with "shisha," and what I remember from this experience is cold burgers that take a long time to prepare and end up just sitting in your stomach And as a bonus, the kitchen doesn't look very clean (photo).

Upon entering the lounge, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who promptly escorted us to our seats. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including hummus, batata harra, moussaka, cheese sambousek , and a refreshing pina colada. As a hardcore foodie, we were thoroughly impressed by the culinary delights, which exceeded our expectations and paired perfectly with our drinks. The highlight of our meal was the decadent Umm Ali dessert, which left us speechless and satisfied. We also enjoyed an exceptional shisha experience, opting for a grape and mint blend accompanied by nakhla and mint. The smoke was rich and satisfying, and the attentive staff ensured that our coal was expertly replenished throughout our visit, without needing to ask. The staff's vigilance and prompt service left a lasting impression on us. Overall, our experience was truly exceptional, with top-notch food, exceptional service, and outstanding shisha. We can't wait to return soon!

Where do I start? I called to make a booking for food and to reserve a table in the garden for shisha and boxing. They took down all details apart from what time we wanted our table for, so just as he was about to hang up I had to tell him the time I wanted it for. When we got there we seated at the front away from all the noise and visible for the staff to see us (this didn't make any difference to the service we received). We went for a date night and I was in heels (don't make the same mistake as I did, it's a dirty converse type place) It took about 25 mins to come and take our order and give us a drink. They handed us 2 cans of drink with a straw and no glass, which they had a cheek to charge £2 for. A while later the starters came out then another while later the mains came out and our dirty starter plates were still on the table. (Found a hair in my houmous). We asked about the shisha table we reserved for after we had ate and they told us that the garden was full, then it was rectified after I mentioned how I'd already reserved a place. People were in and out in and out the whole time we were eating. It was NOT I repeat NOT a good experience. One guy walked in and asked if he and his friends could smoke in the shisha garden, the staff told him it was full and he replied "don't worry I'll make room", and the staff did nothing to stop him. (He probz defo took the table we had reserved). Me and my partner decided this is not somewhere we wanted to spend the rest of our child free evening so we told the staff we no longer wanted our table. We asked for the bill and for our food to be packed up so we could take home and the waitress sighed and said "can you not see how busy it is, you'll have to wait" so I told her get the trays and I'll pack it up myself. Which she did. She then bought the bill over, in the bill it said we had 3 cans, but you could clearly see on our table we had 4 and she was questioning how many we had (bear in mind these were 4 empty cans as they hadn't been cleared up) so I told her there's 4 on the table which obviously means we had 4 not 3. And she couldn't fathom how to add an extra £2 to the bill. So we done that simple math for her. While we were eating the staff we're arguing with each other and throwing f** into each other. This place was far too understaffed, unauthoritive and poorly run. Absolute shithole. First time we have came to Oxford to eat and won't be rushing back anytime soon. Would of had a more chilled evening in a layby on the M1. Not impressed. If I could give 0 stars I...

Don’t really like leaving bad reviews, but feel like I have no choice here. As a customer who has spent over around £3k in this lounge since it opened I feel like recently in my past 3-5 visits the service and treatment has been beyond poor. It feels as if the only thing that matters now is the money, there seems to be a change in some staff now and the courtesy that was once there seems to have disappeared, there’s no greeting at all anymore, to sum it up I went the other day (have in mind I’m a customer that was there weekly spending over at least £100 in a group of 4 each visit and so was no stranger) and was told as soon as I sat down ‘it’s £15 a person or you can’t stay here’ with no greeting whatsoever, tell me is this anyway to treat a customer let alone a customer who is spending a lot of money every week?? I get it it’s a rule now, but there’s a way to go about it, make the customer at least feel welcome first!! And if it’s a regular high paying customer like me and many others no doubt, it should be clear that these people shouldn’t be spoken to in such a way, in fact nobody ever should be spoken to in such a way regardless. On top of this when ordering drinks or food we’ve been lucky to get it within the hour from recent visits, and coal changes are extremely rare now too, I physically had to get out of my seat and go to the front just to ask for the coal to be changed, but generally to sum it up I will not be visiting again, I understand business is about making money but if in doing that it means treating regular paying customers as if they mean nothing then I want no...

So I went there and ordered food with 5 other people. Our STARTERS took 45 minutes. That was fine because sometimes that can happen with staff shortage. We ordered lamb chops, they were okay however made me feel a little sick. Then the main course took at least 20 more minutes. They bought out one of the main courses and put it on the table. No plates, no cutlery whatsoever. Just a Lamb curry on the table which we could not eat without plates and Naan. When we asked for plates the waiter took quite a long time and seemed like he was doing his own errands. Finally he showed up with the plates however he put his order writing pad on one of them which unfortunately ended up being mine. He seemed as if he had ZERO training and clearly didn’t know how to handle the plates and cutlery that we use to eat. Finally the Naan came and the curry was a little cold by then. The Naan was very nice but the lamb curry, was awful. The lamb was unbreakable without a lot of effort. And the sauce/ gravy tasted quite bad and was bland. Finally the two other main courses came and they not great as well. Then the other food wouldn’t come and by that time I was frustrated so I had to go to Nando’s and get food for myself and my sister because ours was awful. When in the car my family told me that they took some money off of the falafel that my cousin ordered because it took too long and my mother was furious. The food was awful, the wait was long and they thought they were doing us a favour. Never eating there again. The fact that I had to go to another food place sums it up. I do not recommend eating...
