Philly's Burger — Restaurant in Oxford

I recently visited Philly’s Burgers in Oxford with a few friends, and it was an incredible experience. 🍔✨ I had been there a few years ago and was excited to try it again, hoping for a great beef burger meal like I remembered. The customer service was outstanding—the staff were friendly, and the boss himself even came out to greet us. He went above and beyond, recommending a special dish he could make just for us: a smash patty truffle burger, which wasn’t on the menu yet. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we were excited to try it. 🙌

Now, I know what I’m talking about when it comes to burgers, especially smash patties—they’re my go-to every time. And I can confidently say that this was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. 😍 It was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and truly exceeded my expectations. The messy fries were equally on point, making the whole meal unforgettable. 🍟 There wasn’t a single thing I’d change about the burger; it was perfect in every way.

Although parking outside is limited, and you might need to park and walk a short distance, it’s absolutely worth the visit. 🚗➡️🚶‍♂️ I was happy to return after all these years and will definitely be coming back again. Philly’s Burgers has truly earned its spot as one of my favourite burger...

The burgers are out of this world!! The vegan options are fantastic and even though I like to be experimental and always try different things, this is the one place I will order the same burger, the 'vegan gonzales' if you like spice then you are in for a treat!

BE PREPARED when ordering "LARGE" fries as the portion is disappointingly small and the food never comes too hot (even though we are a less than 10 min drive away) the 2nd time ordering here I ordered a small fries and it was the exact same portion as the "LARGE".

Unfortunately on the 3rd time of ordering via JUSTEAT Philly's were unsuccessful in completing our order, according to JUSTEAT we were due to receive our order at 19:45 at 19:55 when it didn't arrive we attempted (unsuccessfully) to make contact with the restaurant for a further 40 minutes there was no answer, we lodged a complaint through JUSTEAT who then informed us that the order will arrive at 20:20. 20:40 came by and no food, the restaurant finally answered and informed us that the have a "new system with JUSTEAT " and didn't receive our order.

That being said, although the food mostly always arrives 'luke warm' the burgers are always hands down the...

It's a small place but that's probably what makes it extra special, and the food was worth it! I reckon it fits about 15 people or so, just to give you an idea. We went today for lunch as a group of four adults and three toddlers, and we ate it all. I ordered the single chicken burger and truly enjoyed it. The rest of our group ordered the all-in vegan burger, the cheeseburger, and the too cheesy and we enjoyed it all. Just so you know, the meals include burger, fries and brownie/cookie (not a drink). The owner came out to our table to say hello and ask us where we were from and how we liked the food. Staff were friendly and quickly responsive to any changes we required or issues that came up. Food came out at a fairly reasonable time, and we appreciated the amount of food. This place is good for most people and groups, and it's halal so definitely worth a visit if you're looking for...
