Went for evening meal on Sun. Had meat moussaka and chicken in tortilla with tomato sauce and yoghurt, with rice (forgotten name).

Meat moussaka: very tasty. Very nice taste of aubergine in there and cheese delicious. Thought sweet potato was unecessary and made bit too sweet. Still really good though.

Chicken tortilla thing: very nice. Good taste of minced chicken with other spices etc - tasted bit like chicken sausage or something. Tomato sauce delicious and nice combo with yoghurt. Very filling with tortilla and rice which I liked. Could maybe crisp up the tortillas slightly to add extra texture.

Rice in both dishes delicious and perfectly cooked. I'm not sure what you do but so much better then steamed rice I do at home.

Both dishes 16£ ish so on the higher side. But this is homemade food of good quality.

Were surprised with homemade looking dips and bread after ordering and a couple of baklava when bill came, both for FREE. AMAZING! Bear this in mind with the prices.

Young lady in green top very smiley and answered qs well. Didn't seem stressed at all and checked in on us midway through meal.

Food and drinks came quickly, definitely quicker than average.

Having finished work late, I called Keyif at 9:05 PM to see if they could fit me in. They kindly accommodated me, and I arrived at 9:15 PM. As always, I ordered the King Prawn main dish with rice and salad, which was as delicious as ever. I also decided to try a Margarita, which was well-made and refreshing.

On a quiet Tuesday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty, save for one other table. The service was prompt and efficient, with the Margarita arriving within 10 minutes and the main course following just 15 minutes later. The entire meal was wrapped up in under half an hour, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary serving of baklava to finish.

Once again, Keyif delivered an excellent dining experience. Their consistently great food, attentive service, and thoughtful touches make this place a firm favorite.

Fast attentive service- given some complementary dips and bread whilst waiting for mains - had the chicken shish with yogurt and fried bread. Meat was a bit on the dry side but the sauce made up for that- rather filling dish.

Sadly this is not a reflection of the food. We were very much looking forward to eating there as we have seen many good reviews. However, seeing that the restaurant opened from 12pm - 10pm Wednesday - Saturday, we made a long journey from Abergavenny area down to Penarth on Wednesday, aiming to visit the beach and have late lunch. We did not make a booking as we were unsure of what time we would arrive, and were prepared to wait accordingly. We were extremely disappointed to get there and find a notice in the window stating "Sorry, closed for maintenance" or words to that effect. We had checked Facebook before leaving to see if they were open and there was no mention of this closure on there, or on their website. Four very disappointed would...
